The question for today is straightforward. Fictionkin folk, what is the kintype you are most strongly related to? Tell me about them! No wrong answers, no judgement here.
For me, I'm multikin and I have a lot of fictionkin types. My strongest kintype is with Seiko Kimura from the Danganronpa 3 anime. She's an anime exclusive character, and is a pharmacist! She has a strained relationship with her best friend Ruruka that breaks my heart </3.
So, what about you?
Obligatory 'identify as vs relating to': Kintypes whether traditional creatures or fictional characters are still at their core something/someone you are, not "relate to". Someone who is fictionkin is not simply relating to a character or fictional entity, they are identifying as that thing as a core part of who they are. For strongly relating to a character, this would rather fall under
fictionhearted in cases where this is to a point said character makes up part of someone. More likely however, in most cases it is simply the common occurrence that many if not most people feel of relating to characters that are created for such purpose.
My strongest fictionkintype is Starscream from the Transformers, although this is in a way where I don't see myself as identifying as a cartoon/comic character, but that the countless media interpretations are based off of a true version that existed in another universe. Its why I rather simply prefer seeing myself as cybertronian as a species first. It doesn't quite feel the same as I find most "fictionkin" do. My name from that life isn't even "Starscream", but rather an unpronounceable and otherwise nonhuman utterance of phonetics that can't be replicated by human vocals.
