Star Mother Nature
Here's the story of my PFP (as of 11/21/2022 anyway, I assume I'll change it at some point).

It's a drawing I made after having a dream.

I don't remember the "beginning" (if dreams even have a beginning), but the earliest thing I remember is looking up at a night sky. Something like a shooting star came falling down & where it landed, a woman covered in black feathers & scales stood up.

Maybe it was clothes or maybe it was just how she looked, I don't know. Or maybe she was created from those things. Dreams are weird. She wasn't that tall. Kind of short actually from what I could see. Maybe 5" 2' even while wearing huge ridiculous heels.

She didn't say anything to me, or maybe she couldn't see me, or maybe I wasn't there (I'm not always in my own dreams). But I knew somehow that she was mother nature. I had the thought that she doesn't look like any version of mother nature I'd seen. That's when she made the leaves on her head grow. Maybe it was a sense of humor or maybe just trying to be more like what people expect.

She didn't look exactly like how I drew this picture, but it's the best I can do to show everyone else. She's constantly changing anyway.

I had never seen this version of mother nature before, but it makes a lot more sense to me than the stereotypical leaves & flowers thing. Nature includes plants & animals, but the vast majority of nature is not alive. Nature isn't just Earth. Most of nature is dark, empty space.

I don't know if I believe in a "mother nature" as a specific being, but I think this is a good personification of the universe.

I've never come across a depiction of Mother Nature like this either. I kind of like the dark/night version of her though.

Although I don't think of her associated with the universe, just of-earth.

I didn't consciously think of mother nature applying to the whole universe until that dream. But it makes sense. Especially if there's life on other planets. But even the non living things are still nature.

But if there's life on other planets, wouldn't they have their own version of Mother Nature? Mother Nature is specific to Earth. Wink

I can imagine that. I see "Mother Earth" & "Mother Nature" as different things personally.
