A Dark kin Subforum?
I probably wouldn’t use it much myself, but from here:
<!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="http://forum.otherkinphenomena.org/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=579&view=unread#unread">viewtopic.php?f=20&t=579&view=unread#unread</a><!-- l -->

I gleaned that it might be a good add on under the Otherkin section. If there are enough interested or that would use it might you guys want one?

Re: A Dark kin Subforum?
I dunno.

It would help those of us who are stuck in-between categories.

Well, it would help for the dark kin stuck between categories, anyway <!-- sTongue --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- sTongue -->

I would use it, but I'm not sure how many dark kin there are here . . . though looking at some of the other categories, I'm not sure how many people fit them, either.

Re: A Dark kin Subforum?
What about the DarkKin Forum? It's true that it's depressingly slow, largely because there isn't a huge need for it to begin with, but since it already exists and there are already a collection of dark kin there, it seems unnecessary. Why not just refer people to it?

Re: A Dark kin Subforum?
Mainly because it isn't part of OKP - it has no connection to it other than the two adorable folks (*ahem*) who run it are also OKP staff. There are dedicated forums out there for therians, angels, dragons, etc - but there's still a place for them to have sub-forums here.

i wouldn't mind a dark kin forum being added, it'll give me another place to post on this forum.

Re: A Dark kin Subforum?
I'm more a fan of the idea of an "energy beings" forum or something similar, I have always felt that "Dark kin" sounds a little rpish to those on the outside looking in. Is there a better word or description we could come up with than "Dark kin?"

Re: A Dark kin Subforum?
Nothing general, no. Energy beings would probably be a better move anyway, as theoretically it covers shadows, demons, brighty lighties (who currently just have the "But it's not just Judeo-Christian angels, honest!" celestial forum).

An energy being forum sounds good to me.
