This thread is exactly what it says on the tin! When referring to your canon, what's something people seem to always assume that they just have completely wrong. This can be something people generally assume to have happened in canon or a fanon interpretation that just doesn't sit right. I'll start!
As Lapis Lazuli, I was aromantic. I don't really ever see anybody bring this up as being even remotely a possibility, though! It doesn't bother me when I see Lapis Lazuli x Peridot content; in fact when I was a teenager they were my OTP! However I know that in my canon what we had could best be defined as being queerplatonic.

Jack/Joan, they/them, 22, aroace fictorose lesbian. Neurodivergent so please be patient! I use tone tags!

I don't think most of those who know of my character don't understand the depths of my nature. Most of the time, it feels surface level, sometimes leaving me unfulfilled. The level of detail the writers took to researching the small moments expressed (I.e., racial aspects, etc.) in my source is immense and still only touches the surface. These are the curators themselves. I applaud them for their effort, though; they did a wonderful job.
