One of the things which I realized last night has been applying to me is this concept of having minimal or no rear limbs. Back when I was talking to Apparently Well-Meaning Psychic Friend:

viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1858&p=32521&hilit=awmpf#p32521

...who did a scan on me (woo scan from across the country) he told me that it seemed Bell had been twisted + torn off below the waist. This is in conjunction with my "rainforest" visions having to do with a very powerful upper body + grip strength, and little-to-no rear-limb action or attention. I've thought that maybe this had to do with being something like a parrot, where my arms were substituting for legs (given similar uses) and my wings were mostly folded...but that doesn't explain the "wagging" tail I used to have, or the sense of a jointed or prehensile tail.

I'm thinking that what's going on may very well be the confluence of several different forms which are getting combined or mixed up in my mind. In particular, I'm thinking monkey and/or parrot, even though the wagging fluffy tail-image also makes me think "dog" (particularly retriever). And then there's the possibility that one or more of these could be metaphorical, or unintentionally combined.

But anyhow, I realized last night that I'd been assuming that Bell was able-bodied, when this wasn't necessarily the case. I suppose it would be kind of...well, normal (for me), to have a disabled spirit attachment. Considering that most of the people who substantively know me have disabilities of their own...and I never really asked Bell if he had been paraplegic prior to his death. I never really thought to do so.

So I'm not really sure what's up with this, but I thought I'd record it while it was on my mind.

I'll go do something else now and try to think of why it was that I started writing this post.

Ouch. You wound me~

Experiences with my own piece lead me to caution against taking it too literally; my own piece never displayed a lower body in visual representation, but this was largely due to both its lack of need for it and its ensuing lack of interest. Hands and arms, by comparison, are a great deal more engaging and interesting; they are relatively multi-purpose and excessively useful, capable of both destruction, care, or even thoughtful contemplation in regards to the world beyond them. Legs are... well... not nearly so interesting, are they? As humans, they are quite important because they are near vital to us successfully navigating ourselves about... but that's about all that they do; if one were to not have need of them for transportation, why would they be deemed important or otherwise materialized, given the choice?

Edited Addendum :

Further, assuming that the target in question was originally of a physical nature (where disabilities can be picked up), unless a disability has become a *very* core part of something's identity(?), I am of the mind that the disability will not go on to affect them even afterwards. As an example, if a human was to have both of their arms amputated, it is not as though their materialization will necessarily be armless, as well, after their death. That being said, I suppose it may also be possible -- through some rather extreme circumstances? -- for a non-physical entity to be damaged in such a way, though I am uncertain fully how it would work and just what kind of events would have to transpire to make it a permanent change.
Wow, this one hasn't been responded to for two years...

I just wanted to thank you for your contribution. I'm thinking that what you're saying is likely correct, as energetic forms seem to align more with identity (and need) than physicality.
