Is there any chance that:
A. Someone will make a darker colored forum theme?
or.
B. Someone can teach me how to do so so I can submit it for review?
The light-blue-on-white themes have a tendency to kill my eyes in my otherwise dimly lit room of choice.
Just wondering. I'm more than happy to put together whatever code/learn whatever I need to to do it. XD
Color scheme choices for users sounds like a neat idea. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to do it. Hopefully someone else here can give us some input on how to do it.
I googled for it and the first result was:

From this I guessed you have to be an admin to do it.

To make it available through the forum, yes. We actually held a contest awhile ago where members created board themes and then the team judged and picked the winner and their work is what you now see here. So anyone can create one. And thanks for the link!
feel free to send me themes (or links to themes), i'll show them to the staff and we'll decide. when this forum was created, there weren't too many themes for its phpbb version so we simply altered one (logo and 7-star buttons). it would be awesome if the new theme had features like that. <!-- s
