Anyone had a dream with this guy? I can't say I have, but the web site made me really curious.
Can't say that I have.
Nope, sorry. Although honestly the image looks like someone just drew it and that it's not actually of someone alive (or dead). The face is too round with extra large ears; it gives him a comical, unreal appearance.
We haven't, but we've heard about him before and are very interested.

He also inevitably reminds us of That Man from Excel Saga. Maybe it's time to re-watch it...

Coincedentally, I was reading the intertubes today and found out it's fake.

This is pretty awesome:

Quote:This website is actually the creation of a sociologist and marketer named Andrea Natella. He runs a company called Guerriglia Marketing which stages "subversive hoaxes" and creates weird art projects that are mostly about pornography, politics, and advertising.

I think ThisMan.org has to be Natella's greatest masterwork. It doesn't smack of artsy pseudo-intellectual "politics" like a lot of his other art does. It's just cheesy and a little bit scary. There really is something uncanny about the pictures of the man and the fake stories from people who claim to have met him. Sweet dreams!
I figured that would be it, but didn't feel arsed to actually check it out.
Thanks Arch, you win.
Bummer, I was really curious about it. I guess mystery solved!
The man looks like Florian Schneider who used to be in Kraftwerk.
