why hello!
I'm awful at introductions...
I'm Maya'il, an angelkin with a penchant for bursting into song. (Don't all angels, though?)
I'm the angel of testing (often translated "Naya'il"), which is pretty relevant for me, as I got a 32 on my ACT. Yes, I like to brag about that still. (:
I'm technically a Principality (Watcher replacement), but I did odd jobs around the city, too. So if you know me, give me a shoutout. I haven't found many people I've known before, but I'm sure there are some out here.
But.... that's about it.
Human-wise, I'm an average 19-year-old college student. Bisexual, silly, majoring in education.... yep. That's me.

Welcome How did you come to the conclusion that you're angelkin?

I don't have a penchant for bursting into song by the way...

Re: why hello!
Yo and welcome.
Quite the specific introduction there, did it take you long to pin it down that specifically?

I do second Sera's question as well..

Re: why hello!
@Kahoku: I did bring cookies. But I think I ated them all. *looks* Well... there's a few crumbs left. (: I shall make you brownies.
@Seraphyna: I was kidding about everyone bursting into song. Only silly people like me do it.
@Miniar & Seraphyna: After about five years of thinking I was crazy when I sensed presences hanging around people, I finally found someone who was the same way. Together, we found our true identities. This was long before I had heard about otherkin, so I had no support other than my friend. I could only meditate on my identity, and ask the spirits I could feel around me for help. Yes, I understand that is dangerous, but I'm fairly cautious and I can generally sense their intentions. Also, a big helpful contact for me was Gabriel. He really helped me get my head straight on who I was and what that meant.
@Miniar: The reason I can be so specific is that I've really spent about two years meditating on myself, and yes, Googling things when necessary. I'm 90% sure about the name. It really stuck, and that name has been associated with an angel of testing, which is definitely one of my strong points. Also, "up there," I worked with Uriel a lot, and he gave me the knowledge to test people. The Principality thing I'm sure about. I'm basically a glorified guardian angel, and I'm always wanting to look out for everyone I meet. That was the original job of the Watchers (hence the name), and the Principalities were created after their fall. Ergo, I am a fairly young angel, which probably contributes to my spontaneity.

I appreciate any questions. (:

Re: why hello!
Welcome to the forum, just be careful with some self-discoveries. If you go looking inside yourself for an answer, you *will* find one that you like regardless if there is an answer or not.

Not that I'm saying you don't know what you're talking about, but just a reiteration of what it already sounds like you've done, be skeptical and critical and hammer it out.

Good that you're hear, hope to hear more from you, hope you enjoy the board.
