Re: tail help!
First of all hi and please post an introduction so we can properly welcome and get to know you. Second, I'd personally say you're feeling discomfort from said phantom limb because you expect to. Phantom limbs are just that...phantom. They aren't "real" and as such shouldn't cause you physical pain because you sat on one of them. I'd work on making the tail go away. Concentrate on putting it back in the proverbial box and tell yourself that it can't actually cause physical discomfort. Heck, if that doesn't work take an advil as if it were an actual aching limb and see if your brain gets the message.

Re: tail help!
A lot of chairs get painful if you sit on them for a long time, phantom tail or no phantom tail.
Try examining your seated position and work out whether your body is sitting in a natural, human, position.
Consider cushioning your seat.

Re: tail help!
1) The required first-post-intro would be nice, thanks for reading the rules
2) It's not actually there, try realizing that a phantom tail is, as Seraphyna said, *phantom*

Re: tail help!
Use your energy hands and energy tools to make an energy hole in any chair you need to sit on. Your phantom tail is energetic, it doesn't need a physical gap.
