Re: elven star
I've come across an elven star meditation which is an interesting read. Not sure if that's what you're referencing as original though.

There are a whole bunch of them. This is one site I found on the meaning of the septagram: http://www.rialian.com/star.htm

Re: elven star
We've tried to dig that up and haven't found anything, though it's possible someone who's been around the community longer can find you an answer. You might also try contacting Rialian, who has been around for a while.

Re: elven star
I don't think there's an "originally". As far as I know the oldest documentable associations with the glyph itself are with the seven planets. The meaning as an "elven star" or "faery star" is very modern and I'm not sure it can be traced to a single origin.
