am i a demon kin

i've always felt like i had a dark side or felt dark sometimes. i'm always attracted to jobs like forensic researcher and undertaker. what does this all mean? could anyone clarify?

as for demons... i think you have a wrong image of demons. we're not evil, we're not inherently connected to death and destruction. so no, being attracted to these jobs does not mean you are a demon (but it also doesn't contradict it).

in order to find out what you are, i suggest you start with the article section and read everything that sounds interesting. there are articles on how to find your kin type, and more in-depth explanations of each kin type.

I used to want to be a forensic scientist...I'm a celestial. Being drawn to "darker" things, jobs, etc. doesn't make you anything but human and definitely doesn't point to a specific kintype.

There was me thinking it was more to do with my depression at the constant dumbing down of what's really quite a serious question. Apparently, though, that depression is just emo.

As I am rather anti-emo, then, I say: hooray! Hooray to everyone who thinks kin-type is a simple question of what career choices seem interesting! Hooray to those who don't bother with soul searching of any kind! And most of all, hooray to those a think a group of people they've only just met can tell them what species their soul is! Yeeeooooooooooo!

come on guys. if she's new to otherkin and the community, she might not know how to find your kin type or who to ask (or what are bad questions). let's wait for her to post an intro and perhaps more details as to why she thinks she is otherkin/demonkin.
