Zadkiel
So, apparently I have a twin brother. I was informed of this today. His name is Zadkiel, or Tzadkiel, or something like that.

From what little I've been able to find and read on him, he and I assisted Michael in battle. One source I found -- which is rather new-age-ish, but still -- talks about his golden wings . . . mine are silver. The Wikipedia article also states that it was supposedly he who stopped Abraham from killing his son, Isaac.

So, I ask the rest of you: who remembers him, and what do you remember of him?

Re: Zadkiel
I was just curious. Thats very cool I can't quite remember much at all. Though, I think I would have known him somehow.. silver and gold you say? Hmm... I'll think on it.

You mean Mr. Librarian? (That's what I call C to the a to the i to the m.)

Anyways, that's very interesting.

...Crap. There it goes again, that part of my brain that knows things that I learned but forgot. I swear I've heard that name before. But I don't know where. Probably in one of my father's books.

Re: Zadkiel
Normally I'm pretty good with names, but I'm drawing a blank. Either I've never heard of him before or my mind was on other things at the time.

Re: Zadkiel
Zadkiel: ("righteousness of God") - (prayer) - he is known as the angel of benevolence, mercy, memory, and chief of the order of dominations (equated with hashmallim). "Zadkiel also kindles a desire for spiritual development in humankind. He guards the powers of invocation; the best known and most powerful form: prayer".

Re: Zadkiel
I know the name Zadkiel, and if I recall he is believed to be an Archangel, I don't recall anything about it from personal memories though.

Why do you trust the perception of another to tell you information about you own identity?

if all one ever needed was self-affirmation and one's own perspective, there'd be no need for a forum with which to have such fun discourse ...outside perceptions can be quite positive and offer concepts never before considered, or help uncover lost memories etc......i doubt many take what others say about them as definite and unquestionable; still comes down to the self
