Your CD!
The game here is to make a CD of 15 songs that you would send to someone so they could get to know you better. List away, and see how amusing it is to match music to your life!

1. Mi Vida Loca -Pam Tillis
~If there was a song to sum up my life... ^_~
2. Little Wing -Def Leppard
~This would be me. ^_^
3. The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia -Reba Macintire
~If anyone ever screwed with my brother, this would be their fate. I, however, would be far more careful to make sure Shane wouldn't take the fall for me.
4. Feathery Wings -Voltaire
~My life has been spent trying to make people feel better about themselves. I don't know if I'd ever get my feathery wings, but it's just...something I do.
5. Land of Confusion -Disturbed
~(I know there's a Phil Collins one, too.) This is the world. This is my view of the world. We can fucking fix it, if we'd take the damn time to.
6. Shine Down -Godsmack
~There aren't many songs I've ever heard that touch the way I feel about my choice of religion.
7. Until It Sleeps -Metallica
~There are times when I want to explode. Sometimes, things claw at my throat and try to escape, and all I can do is swallow with poor grace.
8. All I Want is a Life -Tim McGraw
~Honestly? I never wanted fame. I just wanted a life I could look back on and say I enjoyed.
9. It's My Life -Lenny Kravitz
~I hate to be controlled. HATE. IT. Manipulated, commanded... You name it, I resent it.
10. Stand Beside Me -Jo Dee Messina
~This is my belief, my desire for relationships.
11. Crash and Burn -Savage Garden
~You know how people have lots of 'fair weather' friends? Yeah. I'm not one of those.
12. In the End -Linkin Park
~Sometimes, it feels like all the struggle isn't worth anything. Especially when it doesn't change a damn thing.
13. Believe -Staind
~And then again, all I do is wish and hope. I think I was made for chasing dreams.
14. Save Me -Royal Bliss
~I think, that even if I am designed and built by the gods to guard and protect, that I've always wanted to be rescued.
15. As the World Falls Down -David Bowie
~This is what I promise the ones I love, and what I deliver as often as I can.

The game here is to make a CD of 15 songs that you would send to someone so they could get to know you better. List away, and see how amusing it is to match music to your life!

1. Long Hard Road Out of Hell by Marilyn Manson
~It definitely is a long hard road out of hell.
2. (S)Aint by Marilyn Manson
~Hold the S because I am an ain't
3. Evolution by Korn
~Welcome to the human effin' race. This is to me the perfect point about how humans deny themselves their natural state. From stoplights to monogamy and onward, humans automatically deny themselves their most primal instincts.
4. Moon Baby- Godsmack
5. The Howling by Within Temptation
~death, doom, destruction <33
6. Freak on a Leash- Korn
~This is my view on love and basically my life on this planet.
7. All About Us by TATU
8. Coming Undone- Korn
~This is pretty much how my awakenings have been
9. Beautiful People- Manson
~again, welcome to the human race
10. Hollow Life
11. Not Gonna Get Us by Tatu
~Kinda how I feel about love, and friendship.
12. Cosmos- Tatu
~makes me think of otherkin too
13. I stand Alone- Godsmack
~At my core I am alone, thinking like this has helped me survive til now. At your core you can only trust yourself, friends can be nice but wont be there forever... Depressing, but true.
14. Whatever - Godsmack
~I can only do the best that I can. "I'm doing the best I ever did, I'm doin the best that I can.. I'm doin the best I ever did now GO AWAY"
15. Stand my Ground
~I will forever stand my ground. That is, I will never give up on what I have promised I will do.

Re: Your CD!
Yoko Kanno - go DA DA
For Runtime. Its preferred form is that of a spiderlike robot, so picking something associated with the Tachikomas from Ghost in the Shell seemed appropriate.

Tool - Vicarious
For Beast, whose original role in the system was to relieve stress by the most direct route possible. Usually logging onto his Brute in City of Villains, Vin Wiesel, and smashing things.

(unknown) - Jump into the Blue Sky!
For Beka. This is on one of the .hack//Legend of the Twilight soundtracks, and as you might guess if you know the series, it's one of the cutest things ever.

Lacuna Coil - To Myself I Turned
For Robin. It seems to sum up the feeling of her time as main frontrunner.

Nightwish - Eva
For Eva. Sums up the feeling of her fronting before we recognized her as a separate member of the group, and it's where she got her name.

Varttina - The Village Awaits the Next Moon
For Sapphire. Everything on the Nordic Roots compilations is her kind of thing, and this is one of her favorites.

Delirium - Angelicus
For Aletheia. She happened to be out one day and really liked this song. Doubly rare.

Faith and the Muse - Prodigal
For Nihil. Sums up her feelings about being Fallen.

Delirium - Eternal Odyssey
For Val. It struck her as an auditory representation of what journeywork is, and that's in her sphere of expertise within the system.

NIN - Discipline
For Svanni, the sub and perhaps greatest sensualist in a system full of sensualists.

Dougie MacLean - Caledonia
For Rhun. This is how he feels about home.

Sixx::AM - Life is Beautiful
For Shainin. Her theme song.

Atreyu - Lead Sails (and a Paper Anchor)
For YDKW. Her theme song.

Rammstein - Stirb Nicht vor Mir
For S'aryn and Solundat. It seems to describe their relationship so well.

Delirium - Returning
For Cai, for his fear of the world, and for his persistent feeling that it's not where he's supposed to be.

Flobots - Handlebars
For Shang. He may not really believe this sort of thing about himself, but it's how he presents himself to the outside world when he do it and not get smacked by Val.

-dunno who, sleep-fuzzed

"All knowledge is worth having." -Phedre no Delaunay

"Everything has a price." -Jaenelle Angelline

"I think if you try, that's being your best." -Echo

Re: Your CD!
"Confusion" - Alice in Chains - Loosely biographical?
"Stellar" - Incubus - My love song.
"Penetrate" - Godhead - I feel like a bit of my personality is injected into this song.
"Skin Is Burning" - Burlap to Cashmere - "My skin is burning with the fire of the world, and sometimes my eyes are tricking me.."
"Purple Pills" - D12
"Zebraskin" - Dredg
"Criminal" - Eminem - I feel that I play the role of a trickster in much of my life, and that this is an example, albeit a hyperbole.
"Foolish Games" - Jewel - If I were the man in the song, rather than the speaker.
"Pimp Juice" - Nelly - There's a certain level of class, exorbitant wealth, and.. "g thang" all together.
"Change (In The House of Flies)" - The Deftones - Half dark love song, very much mirroring my thoughts and feelings.
"Blue" - A Perfect Circle - Same as above.
"Pussy Liquor" - Rob Zombie - I'm very amused by this song.
"One Nation Under A Groove" - Funkadelic - My favorite song, period. The Grande Finale.

Re: Your CD!
This is a great idea! And in no particular order, my songs.

1. I'm In A Hurry by Alabama - because everyone's always rushing and sometimes people need to stop and slow down.

2. Video Killed The Radio Star by the Presidents of the United States - this has been my personal theme song for the past 8 years. I love it; the lyrics, the music, it's one of my favorite songs of all time.

3. From A Distance by Bette Midler - another song that I've loved for years. This one is simply beautiful and again, makes people stop and take a look at their lives.

4. Animal I Have Become by 3 Days Grace - sums up being a therian pretty well sometimes.

5. Everything I Do, I Do It for You by Bryan Adams - my husband's and my song. It explains our relationship perfectly.

6. Just Push Play by Aerosmith - one of my favorite Aerosmith songs, it's got a great beat and the lyrics rock!

7. Wolfen One by Heather Alexander - my favorite therian-related song, it's soft, I love the lyrics and it's very spiritual.

8. Worst Pirate by Ceánn - because girly pirate woman are pathetic and not really pirates. I am not what the song describes as I wear black whenever I feel like it (it's one of my fav. colors) and my pirate flag does not have birds or flowers on it!

9. Only The Good Die Young by Billy Joel - because it's true.

10. Loch Levan by the Tartan Terrors - because the bagpipes are a wonderufl sound and this song is very haunting and beautiful. It instantly transports me to Ireland.

11. Unleash the Albannach by Albannach - tribal, loud and awesome! These Scottish drummers are fantastic!

12. Somewhere Over The Rainbow by Judy Garland - it's where I'd like to be.

13. Music Of The Night by Michael Crawford - it's such a beautiful song and since I love nighttime it's appropriate.

I'll have to get back to you on the last two as I'm simply out of steam for the day!

Re: Your CD!
1. Linkin Park - Crawling (preferably a remix thereof)
Just for nostalgic reasons of how I felt during my awakening.

2. Rachel Luttrell - Beyond the Night
Showing my inner sci-fi geek here, but it's a beautiful song. I hope someone does something this beautiful at my funeral. Not that I want it to be soon or anything .

3. DJ Sammy - California Dreamin Remix
Good beat, good lyrics. Was my favorite song for a while.

4. A_Witt - Doing the TWiT
TWiT is the reason I got into podcasting in the first place. The random sound clips sound like a random day when I'm being a computer geek.

5. Scatman John - Scatman's World
A very uplifting song, hence it makes my list. Reflects my idealism when it is untainted by reality.

6. T.A.T.U. - Ya Shosla S Uma (Russian version)
I don't know why, I just like this song... A LOT.

7. Hampton the Hamster - Hamster Dance Remix
I just like stuff that annoys the crap out of people... and techno.

8. O-Zone - Numa Numa
I am not Gary Brolsma... though I should probably dress up as him for Halloween this year since I have a compatible body type.

9. Super Mario Bros Theme (Original 8-bit craptacular edition)
I like games. What else am I going to say... increase the size of your manhood with mushrooms?

10. Eminem - Guilty Conscience
It starts all love and light, but ends very rational. Kinda like my personal religious beliefs.

11. Eminem - Without Me
I like stirring up crap and annoying authority and "authority" figures in the process.

12. Jeff Foxworthy - Redneck 12 Days of Christmas
I don't know whether this is reflecting on my past in the backwoods of PA... or because I'm now in Texas. Oh ya, and I like the whole Christmas season thing even though I'm not Christian.

13. Nikki French - Total Eclipse of the Heart (remix) (not that Bonnie Tyler version that puts me to sleep)
How I feel when I'm in love.

14. Rihanna - Umbrella
Reflects my charitable nature... but also how others have been charitable to me in times of need.

15. Metroid Prime - Phendrana Drifts
The utter silence of a frigid winter day when snow is out and about is something I often meditate about... even though I try to use that as my setting for starting some meditations.

EDIT: Now my roommates know why I was playing so much weird music .

Re: Your CD!
lol I WAS wondering about that.. I had your songs and energies coming in waves from one direction and hers coming from the other. I felt like I was getting pulled in every direction at once, as well as being pulled apart and crammed together all at once.

Re: Your CD!
Hmm. Now Lemme think.

Men Without Hats - Safety Dance
How I approach life. <3
Smashing Pumpkins - The Beginning is the End is the Beginning
Because there's times I'd love to watch the world burn.
Lit - My Own Worst Enemy
Because I am. Impulse decisions aren't always good.
Godsmack - Voodoo
Because I'm not quite here or there.
Danzig - Am I Demon
Because I doubt myself as often as I believe myself.
MSI - Shut Me Up
This can mean two things: my love of arguing, or my complete mood swings I get.
Oingo Boingo - Insanity
Self explanatory; I have plenty of moments where I'm on that edge.
Kamelot - Ghost Opera
I love the attention because I love the power that comes from it.
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Can't Stop
I'm addicted to living, and I'm addicted to the one I love.
Gorillaz - 19-2000(them Soulchild remix)
Energy High!
A Perfect Circle - Judith
Why I love religion. XD
Cake - Sheep Go To Heaven
And goats go to hell.
Dennis Leary - I'm An Asshole
And I am too.
The Bloodhound Gang - Bad Touch
Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of innuendo.
Metallica - Enter Sandman
Things don't bump me in the night for good reason.

Simim: Rainbow poop at your disservice.
