Yo yo
Hey. My name's Zero. I'm like, a dragon god who shifts between an elf(which I consider my default) and a gryphon, and then I'm a fictive of Caliborn, Krieg, and a Deku Scrub.

Not much else to say. Haha. I'm a boring person. I like books, I'm into Warhammer stories(though not the game) and I'm a writer myse;f.

Welcome <!-- sSmile --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- sSmile --> Out of curiosity, how did you come to the conclusion about all of these kintypes? I'm also confused about the dragon god thing. If default is elf and shifts are dragon and gryphon then why dragon god?

Re: Yo yo
Let me put it this way. If I were a god again, then my dragon form would be naked and my elf form would be like putting on clothes, in a way. The god is my -true- self, but my elf is my normal, regular state that I would hang around in and most people would see. It's hard to, say, play video games at a friend's home for example, when you're wings alone are bigger then the house.

As well, the elf is the most humanoid, and the easiest to vision myself as. Add ears and a few other minor differences and there you are, right? So I tend to see myself most often in my head as the elf.

I mostly know it all from visions, past life memories, shifts, and dreams.

Re: Yo yo
Just what kind of god do you believe yourself to be? There are many takes on divinity in the world, different characteristics and requirements; which do you ascribe yourself to, and why?

Furthermore, for what purpose would a dragon god wish to shift between elf and gryphon, assuming being a dragon god somehow affects your inclinations? Why not something else?

Re: Yo yo
Something to do with blood-I know rituals involving the substance was used in my worship, alongside sacrifice. Memories are scare.

If I transformed into anything else, I could also say "Why not an elf and a gryphon?". Okay but no I dunno. Memories and stuff are hard to come by, and what I get is usually heavily fragmented.

Re: Yo yo
Unless I am mistaken, the use of blood and/or sacrifice does not necessarily guarantee that the god in question holds sway over these domains.

I am, however, more curious as to the *kind* of divine you believe yourself to be. When one hears the term "god", one may bring to mind a Creator, or one may bring to mind "one who holds omnipotence over a dominion", or any other myriad of existences as referenced throughout various cultures of the ages. I am wondering what the term "god" means to you, specifically, so that I may better understand exactly what you ascribe yourself to be.

Re: Yo yo
Maybe not, and that's a good point I hadn't really considered in desperation to make sense of what little I know about myself. I roll with blood because my elf self was a vampire, but that isn't saying much either.

I wasn't omnipotent, or God kind of god, I know that for sure. I'm the kind of god might be found in a pantheon-not that I had one which I know of, but around that level.

While I can understand the desire to understand and put to terms your nature, there is no need to rush the process. Who you are will not change just by putting it to words, and applying labels too hastily can stunt your own self-discovery. You do not always need to be right -- you do not need to *know* what you are -- and it is perfectly fine to hold uncertainty, so long as you are truthful with yourself.

This is past tense. Are you saying that your elven self is no longer a vampire? That you no longer hold elven tendencies, that that particular shift exists no more, or is different than how it once was?

Re: Yo yo
No, just using past tense in the sense that I -was- something in a past life, and now I exist in a human body.
