Yo.
Hello, I'm Nirofen, but most people call me Niro for short. Some of you may already know me, but most probably don't yet.
I'll begin by saying I'm a born orthodox Jew, and have been living in Israel all my life. My religion is practically atheism, even though that term barely is recognized in Israeli culture (I am considered a 'non believing Jew'). More specifically, I don't believe in deities, spirits, souls, or other planes of existence (at least not by what seems to be the common definition). I tend to be respectful towards differing beliefs as long as the person holding said beliefs is reasonable, self-critical, and able to explain what led him to believe what he does (although anyone may simply refuse to share their reasons). That may not be the case, however, if that person has already left a strong negative impression on me or I am in a mood extreme enough to cloud my judgment. Fortunately, both instances are rare.
Other than that.. Well let's see: I have a strong liking to various types of logic puzzles, mysteries, and am very fond of trying to figure out magic tricks. I love physics and maths very much. I find them intriguing, exciting, and even awe-striking sometimes. I hope to one day make physics research my profession. I also very much enjoy video games (particularly RPGs), tabletop RPGs, and strategy board games (even though I'm terrible at them). I also have a great interest in languages, which makes me rather ashamed I can only speak two.
In regards to art: I can't draw well at all. I like acting, both full acting and voice acting, but my experience with it is rather slim. I love to sing and dance randomly and for no reason. Apparently some heathens also think my singing is rather good (I assure you those people are insane). I also write a little, even though I am being very lazy when it comes to honing that skill. Still, I have a knack for writing in rhymes, which I mostly use to make up spoof lyrics for songs for translate them from English to Hebrew (or vice versa). I am also a novice at playing the keyboard and I very much love the sounds of the flute, harp, and cello.
I'll end with three random things I like: nighttime, rain, and tea.
And three random things I dislike: silence, perfumes, and being cold.

Re: Yo.
Hi and welcome.
I'm just wondering, since you said you don't believe in deities, spirits, souls and other planes of existence, why did you join an otherkin forum? Or do you think otherkin is a completely psychological thing?

Re: Yo.
Thanks for the welcome to everyone.

@Skorpio: yes you are correct. I believe otherkin to be a psychological state in which the person simply chooses to identify with some other creature because of an affinity or simply drawing certain analogies between themselves and said creatures. For myself it has been most prominent with dragons. Certain moods, situations, and qualities withing myself tend to make me associate myself with that creature. Sometimes those 'draconian' feelings come on their own and sometimes invoked by conscious will. It is not constant, however, and there have been times when I was more comfortable associating myself with different creatures or even items as well. But since all in all I'm quite a bit human and find much comfort in the humanoid shape as well I just choose to list myself as human. Not to mention I feel claiming myself to be anything else would be somewhat dishonest.

@Elinox: Well I want more! MORE MORE MOAR MOAR MOAR!!!
