What Religion Are You?
Because the poll only allows me to put in 10 options, I've chosen the top 9 religions and spiritualities along with the option of "other". You can choose up to two. If you have more than two pick the main one and then "other" to explain further in the thread.

I chose "pagan" and "other" for myself because I'm pagan, but agnostic. I have no concrete proof that what I believe is real, but I have no concrete proof that it isn't real so I sit in the middle and choose to believe what I do. I'm more than aware that what I've had happen spiritual wise could all be in my head, but I choose to act as if it's real. Here's a list of the others in the system:

Lestat - Other; Agnostic
Nico - Pagan (specifically Hellenic)
Fenrir- Shaman; Pagan

Re: What Religion Are You?
I just went for "other". I tend to swing between atheism, agnosticism, and pantheism depending on my mood/day. I guess I sort of see it as an "all gods exist or none do" type deal.

Re: What Religion Are You?
I selected pagan and other. If asked, I would identify as pagan because I consider nature to be my spirituality. I selected other because I tend to be spiritually ambivalent leaning towards atheism until proven otherwise.

Re: What Religion Are You?
I chose pagan/other because I consider my beliefs more eclectic pagan with leanings toward Wicca and animism.

Curious why you separated Catholicism from Christianity as a whole, and for that matter Wicca from Paganism...

Because of the split that caused the first branch of Christianity other than Catholicism to form. They're technically the same, but at the same time there's enough of a difference. You wouldn't put Eastern Orthodox with Catholicism for the same reason. Pagan is separate from Wicca because the two are often seen as different, and I'm very aware that some people get irritated if Wiccans are lumped under Pagans much like some therians can get irritated if they're lumped under the term Otherkin.

Irritated or not, it's still logically true for both.

Re: What Religion Are You?
I chose "Taoist," and "Other," even though I'm still learning about Taoism. Basically it would seem that I'm a panentheistic animist but who is counting, right?

Realistically, I have considered myself for a very long time (off and on) to be spiritual but not religious. I've tried the religion thing with Buddhism and some other paths, but I find that I diverge from the place in which one would wish to hold to a set ideology and morality. I do have my own relationships with spirits and such; I just don't have a fixed way of explaining my experiences to myself (or others).

Re: What Religion Are You?
Ouch... Looks like I'm the only Christian. Chalk it up to the fact that I was raised in this religion, but I hold firm in my faith. Beyond the fact I believe in one God, I also like the title Christian because not only does it relate to the faith, but for me it also describes a good person. That is what I strive to be- a good person. My faith has helped me so many times, and beyond that, the church is a nice place to be(everyone is so nice there!)
