Types of Elves...
Starwind Wrote:So, what kind of elves have found their way here?

I *may* be Elenari, or have been at some point in time, but I'm not sure, as I'm missing a lot of memories that many other awakened Elenari seem to be reporting. I don't know if that means I've got it wrong, or if just some remember more than others.

I don't currently know much about other kinds of elves, like those in Norse legends, looking those up is on my "to do" list...

Re: Types of Elves...
Stats from the old forum:

6 or 7 alfar (can't spell the types so if any of those wish to clarify, feel free)
1 Elemanti or other sort of winged elf
1 mountain dweller, race unknown
1 possible Elenari, possibly something else entirely

"I" often refers to unusually large values of 1...

Re: Types of Elves...
I'm a High Winged Elf. "High" does not imply me being under some kind of chemical influence. It just kind of describes my race as to what we look like and the stuff we do(NOT DRUGS... that I know of XD). I technically belong to Tanidresi, though I don't associate myself with them. =P

Elemanti is here too, <!-- sSmile --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- sSmile -->

As far as I know right now, I was/am some kinda winged elf.

One person I know calls me a pixie, but distinct from earthly pixies, because I supposedly am more closely related to elves than earthly fae, and I came from a plane full o' elves and dragons, grin.

Sometimes I feel quite elven, other times quite fae. Sometimes both, sometimes neither!

An elenari here, as far as I know all elves existed on the physical plane. There may have been some exceptions with the Shiri of the elenari which lived in the fae world at one time and the Alfar lived in varies places with there gods as well from memory.

Re: Types of Elves...
I am simply your happy hyper wood elf dropping by to say hi.
Though that said - I'm actually not Elenari - though I have a similar 'vibe', I'm something wholly other. We lived on this earth quite some time ago - though I am not quite sure how long ago that was personally - but that's a discover for another day, apparently.

There's nothing the universe can do to tell you you were born to be vegan quite like when that ill feeling in your stomach only means you're craving veggie broth and a huge salad.

Re: Types of Elves...
I'll put one foot in this thread myself, seeing as I've come to believe that "mother" was some form of elf.
I am working on a physical-reference art on her, but the memory is shoddy and full of holes.
Never knew much of her people at all even... but curiocity has the better of me and I want to learn more of all types of elves.. searching for some knowledge of what her people were like, I suppose...
but yah.. Hi..
No idea what kind of elf... but HI..

I am of the Eldar, the same types that Tolkien called the "Quendi".
