Street Lights
Okay, what's the deal with street lights turning on or off when I pass under them? I know I'm not the only one. The only way I can explain this is if they were on some sort of a motion sensor. But we don't have that new fangled tech here...esspecially where I live.

So what's the deal, and who else has had this happen to them?

Re: Street Lights
Do the lights flicker, or merely turn on/off?
How frequently does this happen?
Does this happen with other types of lights or is it a streelights only thing?
No "new fangled tech"? Have you considered the possibility that they're merely requiring maintenance?

Just the first thoughts...

Just the first thoughts...

It happens sometimes, unpredictably, but its not surprising when it happens anymore. Like something you just get used to even though I've always wondered the cause. And its done it since I was young. It just the big street lamps, the high ones; but all different kinds of those...whatever lines the street/highway...no other lights. And they just either turn on or off, no flickering. I happens all over, no matter where I am so it can't be just simple maintenance issues. And not all of them, random ones here and there, once in awhile...just unexplainable pure and simple. And that irks me.

Do they ever do so while you're driving, or is it walking only?

Re: Street Lights
Yes, it happens as much driving as walking actually.

Happens to Vercing too. All the time in fact, I've seen it myself.
