Strange Stuff of the Net
For almost a year now, i have collected links to net-things (mostly texts, videos, flash animations, interesting sites, games). Each week, on sunday, i send some people a mail with the three most relevant / time-waster ones. I though i could as well post them here.

(74th issue)
This week's selection :

( Video ) YouTube - World record Minesweeper Expert 37 seconds
> It's been said this person took more than 6 hour a day to train at some point <

( Images ) Art: What worms, virus and spam attacks look like in 3D
> Note the similarity with real-life viruses. I wonder what the creation process looks like <

( Animation ) The Stranger Forest
> /!\ Quite big file (but it's worth the wait) <

Have a nice (waste of) time.

Re: Strange Stuff of the Net
Oh, I had one entire archive of these links!

For digging through some, I love stumbleupon and <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.backwash.com">http://www.backwash.com</a><!-- w --> .

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.meghan-mccarthy.com/articles_sayings.html">http://www.meghan-mccarthy.com/articles_sayings.html</a><!-- m --> => origins of random sayings

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://uninteresting.myby.co.uk/noeffort/hamlet.htm">http://uninteresting.myby.co.uk/noeffort/hamlet.htm</a><!-- m --> => "Tales For The L33t: Hamlet"

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://uninteresting.myby.co.uk/noeffort/romjul.htm">http://uninteresting.myby.co.uk/noeffort/romjul.htm</a><!-- m --> => "Tales For The L33t: Romeo & Juliet"

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_unusual_deaths">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_unusual_deaths</a><!-- m --> => List of unusual deaths

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.addictinggames.com/theimpossiblequiz.html">http://www.addictinggames.com/theimpossiblequiz.html</a><!-- m --> => The Impossible Quiz (danger, addiction)

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.darwinawards.com/darwin/">http://www.darwinawards.com/darwin/</a><!-- m --> => The Darwin Awards

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://fairy.mahdzan.com/story/189.asp">http://fairy.mahdzan.com/story/189.asp</a><!-- m --> => Fried Oreos

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://weirdfacts.com/">http://weirdfacts.com/</a><!-- m --> => Weird facts

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.thehumanmarvels.com/">http://www.thehumanmarvels.com/</a><!-- m --> => "The Human Marvels"

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.planetdan.net/pics/misc/tetka.html">http://www.planetdan.net/pics/misc/tetka.html</a><!-- m --> => "Falling Woman". Basically you use your mouse to control a bikini-clad woman that is falling in some sort of crazy universe with bubbles. You can throw her against the bubbles and squeeze her between them and it makes me laugh for no reason.

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.playzgame.com/online-flash-games/Faling-Skeleton.php">http://www.playzgame.com/online-flash-g ... eleton.php</a><!-- m --> => A similar game, but envolving a Skeleton and pumpkins.

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.corporatedump.com/skeleton.html">http://www.corporatedump.com/skeleton.html</a><!-- m --> => Elastic skeleton. I used to be absolutely addicted to this thing for some strange reason; I have played this for hours. There was a similar one where you could pick effects but I can't find the link.

does anybody have the link to that game where the cursor was inversed and you couldn't touch the blue bits with it to get through? And that one with the elastic skeleton, but that you could pick effects and skeleton types?

Wise decision! Otherwise no work would be done, though I AM tempted to ask for this! I used to actually keep a bunch in this text file, but then my computer went nuts and I have no clue where I have it now. Blame it on stumbleupon!

Made me laugh is this is exactly how I organise my workday, and it is hyper efficient and gets a lot done <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->
