Hey! I'm just curious to see if anyone read any good books lately? I'm starting on the Artemis Fowl Series. It's amazing!!
I've read the first three so far!!!!

Re: Read any good books lately..
Oooo, the list I could make. Lemme see...

Tales from the Flat Earth -Tanith Lee
The Blood Opera Series -Tanith Lee
Angel of Darkness -Charles de Lint
Violet & Claire -Francesca Lia Block
The Screwtape Letters -C.S. Lewis
Roots -Alex Haley
Homicide: A Year on the Killing Streets -David Simon

Those are just the ones I've been reading recently. *purr* I'd recommend anything by Tanith Lee, Robin McKinley, Charles de Lint, Neil Gaiman or Kim Harrison. *nodnod*

The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood is good if you liked 1984 by George Orwell.

Jane Eyre is also very good. It takes a while to get into the style of writing if you're not used to reading classic novels, but it's very much worth it.

Re: Read any good books lately..
I’m still really into Kelley Armstrong’s Women of the Otherworld series. And now she’s got a Men of the Otherworld nook in the way which I’m even more excited about since I love how she writes from most of her male characters perspectives.

And recently I got into a similar series by Patricia Briggs that puts some fun new twists on done to death character concepts. I especially love how she does vampires and werewolves (otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered with how much they’ve been done to death and the same way) as well as her incorporation of Fae.

I just finished Becka Cooper: Terrier by Tamora Pierce. Young, magically talented girl kicks butt in the Lower City. Very good.

No, I haven't read those, but I did enjoy the Protector of the Small series.
