Re: Raguel
its seems unbeliveable but yes i found even the pronunciation of the name, but thank you for your effort, well ... it seems that i guessed right that asking this would be somehow stupid (well nvm, so i will write down here what i found about him that this topic could be somehow (i dont think so)uselful.

well Raguel (Akrasiel, Raguil, Rasuil, Rufael, Suryan, Reuel, Hobab, Jethro(some people suggest that its a titul -> "excellency"),Shoaib, Heber, Keni, Putiel, Abaddon, Apollyon, Azazel (small notice, some of the names are only suggestion that people made.)) is one of the 7 archengel, those are, depends on wich text you are folowing so i listing all names that i found, Uriel, Sariel, Raguel, Remiel, Zadkiel, Jophiel, Haniel, Chamuel, Gabriel, Michael, Raphael, Phanuel, Zerachiel, Simiel, Orifiel, Selaphiel, Jegudiel, Sealtiel, Izra'il, Israfel, Anael, Metatron, Satanel, Samael, Sandalphon, Camael, Muriel, Natanael, Raziel, Azrael, Ariel, Cassiel ......... wow for 7 archengels its lot of names, isnt it ?

the meaning of the name:
"Friend of god", "speech"("rig"), "the suit brought against the defendant"("ragumu", "rag", "raga-lom"), "story given in speech like sing song fashion"("rege"), "the qualities of the voice"("rikkan", "rekedt"), "bards who sang or told stories of heroes and religion" ("regos"), "The council of elders, and the subject of knowledge they represented"("tan") -> "judge"("bar", "biro"), "lawyer"("ugidu", "ugyved").

raguel and his job in haven - he is the one who shall be the archangel of justice, harmony, fairness and he is the Angel of earth. He is the guardian of 2nd heaven some say of the 4th,he is the on who is here for the underdog. He is the one who watch over the angels and make sure they are doing their jobs correctly and make sure that the heaven is free of corruption he also make the punishment for those angels who have transgressed and he brings other angels to account, he is of the order of principalities and needs to be vigilant. Also on of his belived duty is to sound the trumpet for all the angels of ice and snow(he is the angel of ice) and bring with them every kind of wrath on the unpure in the final judgment as some even believe to marshall them. For humans he shall be the one who you call for help when you need to be empowered and respected. He also helps to solve the arguments and is the one who helps with cooperation and harmony in groups and families. he is the one who defends the unfairly treated.

what he is belived to be:
the one who brought enoch to the heaven and was the one who brought him back on earth, he should be the angel of the 5th seal, he should be the 5th angel who opens the pit, he is also belived to be(or have connection) to the angel of revelations who is called "Abaddon" or "Apollyon. It is say that he will be the on in the final judgement who deliver bad voices, mortals and angels to the Archangel Michael, some relevalence show that he have some connection to the babylonian culture as "rag" or "ragumu" and "ugidu", in sumerian culture as "rig", "bar", and in hungarian culture as "raga-lom", "rege", "rikkan", "rekedt", "regos", "biro", "ugyved" also word "tan" have his presence in hungarian, sumerian and several other Ural-Altaian languages, including even Japanese that should have some connection with him (well with is name).
He is also belived to be "Reuel" ("Shoaib"(Reuel is belived to be the prophet),"Jether," "Jethro," "Hobab," "Heber," "Keni" and "Putiel") who was the Moses' father-in-law. because of the sugestion that Raguel is also the angel who helps the high patriarchs in their ascent and help them understand their visions.
He is also assumed to be a demon, some even say he is the fallen Angel Azazel. The Pope Zachary described Raguel as a demon who "passed himself off as a saint". He was also taken out along with some other high-level Angels, including Uriel from the Saintly calendar.

raguel and the thought/pharse/etc. of others:

last words: if somebody could give me more information i would be happy.

Re: Raguel
I was just wondering how to say it (Rag-you-ell; Rag-well; other that I haven't thought of)

Anyways, from the information given, I can pretty safely say that either I never met him or he didn't make an impression on me.

Re: Raguel
First, a note:

The list of archangels you have contains a lot of same person/variant in name. For instance, Barachiel, Zerachiel, and Cassiel/Qafziel (who you missed) are all the same angel. Same with Gabriel/Djibril, Jhudiel/Jegudiel, and Zadkiel/Zachariel. It's just that different lists come up with different variants/spellings, and some on those lists are in different, though similar languages.

Secondly.

Ragiel (who I knew him as) was on of Uriel's attendants/lieutenants. According to Milton (and possibly some Midrashes), he's the angel that taught Adam the law of G-d. In the Middle Ages, there was a legend that Ragiel wrote down all the secrets of the world into a book, and then, because man was so fallen and impure, he threw it into the ocean until humanity would be worthy of it.

He was an aloof character, much like his overseer. I only dealt with him during the time when I was a copier/enscriber for Uriel.

And should it be that we shall never meet again,
Know that I will always keep you in my heart,
And I will search for you in that time beyond time
Until we do meet again, and you will know
That love and family are the miracles of the world.

Re: Raguel
well i should write that i was triyng not to take same names and that say that all the names can be really just variants for them as i would say it in this way lot of culture, another languages therefor change in apperence of the name and etc. but its so messy in my head you know remembering names ok but if they have connection auch XD (as im also lazy to go and search the names and find if they are of same origin or not, im sorry for that. )

anyway i thank you for your contribution and you have also inspired me to ask you . Is the book that Raguel wrote the same one whith the book that an angel called Raziel wrote (in the text that is offered here on earth)? i just dont know if you mean this book of all secret or if you mean another book that Raguel writed with the same meaning, thats why im asking to make it clear for me. Anyway For me every information is good (love to compare the informationts i have gathered, hmm Raziel ....)

edit: whoa Cassiel/Qafziel how could i missed this one.
edit2: interesting Raziel have some similarities with Raguel or that how i feel from reading some text on him XD(nah and now i feel im wrong). also forget to tell you that im really happy about your contribution (im burning with the joy yay XD hups hope i will not burn my hose down.)
edit3: ha http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/view. ... rch=raguel so there is connection
edit4: http://www.babylon.com/definition/Galizur/English well so raziel and raguel could be one angel if i would go only by names.
