RPGs and Videogames in dreams?
This is weird. Does anyone else ever have dreams that, when looked at after you wake up, are set up just like a game you have played? Not necessarily exactly, but having a similar look and feel? I just woke up from a nap where I was a character in Baldur's Gate II...and I went to this bonus area I had missed before and was picking up WoW gold off of everything O_o

Usually, when I've been playing a game for long enough, it affect my dreams.
I had a dream narrated by the guy who is on television, reading the news, inside Vampire the Masquarade; Bloodlines.

Yes, usually when I went through my Crash Bandicoot/Spyro the Dragon phases as a child. I enjoyed the dreams, even if they were a little weird.

I had spam in a dream once. A pop-up popped up and it said (I kid you not) "Click here to continue dream". I didn't click because I was afraid I would download a virus straight into my subconscious. So far, I don't think there are any spyware programs for the frontal lobe.

Crazy I know.

Re: RPGs and Videogames in dreams?
Yeah, I jolted awake. It was just a normal everyday dream and suddenly the imagry went black and a blue underlined link popped up. When I didn't click, I woke up. I really don't think big brother is spamming dreams though. I just think it was something quirky caused by sitting in front of the computer all day. Cool as hell and I remember thinking, before pulling fully from sleep, that I shouldn't click it because of the fear of viruses. When I was awake, I kicked myself for not clicking....cause now I'll never know what would've happened. Probably a good thing.

I couldn't get to sleep for almost a month straight because right when I would start to I would hear the skulltulas scratchy noise from Ocarina of Time. Also speaking of Baldurs Gate II, I had a dream where I am almost certain I was Irenicus.

Re: RPGs and Videogames in dreams?
I had a dream, fairly recently, where I "rolled for initiative" before being able to initiate a person in a debate. Then all through the debate there were int checks, wis checks, bluff and sense motive and so on... all through the debate.
I do not remember what the topic was.
