I myself am a polymorph. But one of the people sharing this skull with me (his name is Alex) might be an elf. If he is, well... we're not sure. Even Alex isn't sure. If he is an elf, he's a mal-adjusted one. He gets frustrated and angry with humans and their world frequently, and claims to hate them but in reality he loves them and wishes they would hurry up and grow up already. He's ill suited to this world, finds something to complain about pretty much everything. He's funny when he wants to be. But usually he's like Oscar the Grouch, only not as pleasant.
He played for awhile with the idea that he might be a Dark Elf, but gave up on that. We strongly suspect he is some kind of elf, though, because two people whose psychic powers were rather astonishingly proven mostly accurate to even him (skeptic that he is) have sensed Elf in Alex.
Has anyone ever heard of a constantly-grumpy Elf? We figure it's possible, since they have so much in common with humans (though much wiser, smarter, and elegant, among other things, than humans).
1. The body has always had an interesting grace, in that, as long as we aren't all trying to drive the body at once or doing something stupid like trying to ride a bike without using our hands, we almost never fall. Whenever we trip, we barely move before we've caught ourselves.
2. Unusual natural knack for magick, when we're in the mood for it. Hardly practice magick at all, but when we do it comes as easily as breathing. We've even used magick to travel within our mind and do self-healing shamanic work (I, Pi, am the result of this). Even casual magick like changing stoplights and calling on luck come easily when we're in the right mindset (ie, not stressed or depressed).
3. Alex's gender seems to be androgynous male.
4. Alex seems to be a warrior type, trying to defend the innocent. Unfortunately, when he does defend innocents, he does it angrily... and anger tends to reduce his capacity for rational thought.
Ich bin ein Diener des Lebens.
Pi = An irrational number.
