At least in my case it’s so off it doesn’t really bother me since it’s a constant that can be gotten used to cause it doesn’t really change. While she explained to me that she feels as though it all just fits, then a movement of hers causes the uneven sensation that catches her attention and feels awkward again.
Personally, I agree, as I think I fit more with the angel than the dragon here. I know that Chaitea would dwarf me if we were comparing souls (dragons trump gryphons in pure mass), and maybe that's part of it. Gryphons are notably bigger than humans, but not to the degree of a dragon - if someone were to see both me and my soul while I was laying down, certain parts (the hips, the shoulders, the legs and arms/forequarters) would match up, but there would be much more girth to my soul, as well the extra parts (the long neck, the tail, the wings...). This means that things match up just enough for me to get disoriented when I think of preening, and then notice that not only do I not have a beak or feathers, but my neck wouldn't let me reach my shoulder feathers if I had them.
