Perfect in Imperfection.
Alrighty, it's a bit about how we tend to try and fit into what we view as acceptable in society and it just doesn't always work. You know, the unhealthily skinny supermodels all the guys expect women to look like, the overly religious with strict prohibitions on anything carnal, those afraid to step out of the norm, and they all expect everyone else to follow suit and step in line. Some people are just bored with the norm and considered a little bit different than most and are sadly shunned if they revealed their own deviance from the norm on a regular basis. Everyone strives to be perfect in some way or another during some part of their lives I think..but the imperfections that make us human are what I find that makes us beautiful, that makes us interesting. So without further ramblings...

Give me your broken your dreamers your damned.
Your hurt and your mishandled and those who are not held dear.
Your fallen your fake your unholy your bland.

I'll take them and make them each one unique.
I'll take them and make them one to seek.
Beauty in broken and tears and flames
as the world burns bright beneath all our shames.

Give me your sorrows your failed your ****ed.
Your deviant and devilish your cynical your mad
Your rich your poor your all you ever had.

I'll take me and make me special, unique.
I'll become something to seek.
Beauty in broken and tears and flames
as the world burns bright beneath all our shames.

Give me...
You're broken, You're dreaming you're damned.
You are hurt and mishandled and are not held dear.
You are fallen you're fake, you're unholy and bland.

But we'll take you and make you special, unique.
We'll take you and make you something to seek.
Beauty in broken and tears and flames
As the world burns bright beneath all our shames.

I'm imperfect and happy and okay you see.
I don't need to be you, I just need to be me.

Re: Perfect in Imperfection.
That's stunningly beautiful.

I read it once, then read it out loud.

Have you got a melody for this?

They've got great flow.

No melody at the moment though I sent them to a friend of mine to see if he could put it with some of his music. (He's a neoclassical metal guitarist)
