Well, that's, of course, assuming that time is linear and that reincarnation follows the normal timeline. Personally I'm not really convinced of this. I don't even think I'd be more skeptical
than normal if I met someone who claimed to be a reincarnation of me after I die. I just am not sure reincarnation is constrained to the normal timeline like that.
Also, if normal people reincarnate, why not famous people? Or does being popular negate your chances for reincarnation?
I think it's good to be skeptical of 'kin who make
ANY overly-specific claims, like specific historical/famous past-lives, specific and detailed past-life memories and whatnot. Just because, if they intend to put out a higher level of detail in their beliefs they should thereby also expect a higher level of scrutiny.
