Mans Best Friend
Since there's a cat thread, how about a thread for dogs? Post picks of your doggone good buddies here!

Sadly, my dogs are no longer with us anymore.

Molly - golden retriever, 14 years old.

Maggie - English setter, 9 years old.

Re: Mans Best Friend
I had one of the best pics of me and my dog. She was sitting in my lab with a cone around her head and you could see part of her white fluffy back was shaved. And then there was me, crutches leaning against my chair and a cast up to my knee.
Ah, good times. *curses the camera that ate the picture*

Eli, you dogs look gorgeous. Especially the retriever.

Re: Mans Best Friend
I don't actually have a dog, but I do have pictures of two (so that Eli's pups don't get lonely in here)

The first picture is Duchess, my grandma's sheltie before she died (Duchess died, not my grandma), and Daphne, my cousin's basset hound, although I'm not sure if he still has her. My aunt didn't think too much about how she doesn't really have the money to afford a dog when she got her.

The second is Daphne again, deciding that the cleaner for my alto sax is her chew toy.

Daphen? Really Deros? When my husband and I get our first dog (after we get a house of course), we want a beagle and were planning on naming her Daphne. Very cute!

I has my two black labs.

Shadow:

and Spring:

Shadow's my silly boy-dog who follows everyone everywhere, hence the name.

Spring used to be jumpy as heck, hence the name, but now she just sits and waits for you to pamper her. o.O

Re: Mans Best Friend
Here's the real Motley, the one I stole the name from. He doesn't seem to mind. I believe he's a Catahoula leopard hound. Some of those spots on his back aren't shadows.

And his 'sister' Talia, who's really the boss and steals Motley's ball whenever her short little legs allow her to.

Re: Mans Best Friend
Or maybe he's part leopard itself >Big Grin

Here's 2 of the current group, Molly the psycho and Maggie the lazy shark-bear:

"Know what, I feel like sitting on your face today".

Molly is the sitter, and Maggie is the sittee. Both are labs, one English and one American (though honestly, I think the breeder is lying and Molly's mom had some fun time with a pit bull or something, because she does NOT look like a lab...especially not those ears and eyes). Maggie's 5 years and Molly's 2.

There's 5 more, but I don't have pics of them yet. Those only 6 months old after all (yes, all the same age, though they're different breeds).

Re: Mans Best Friend
Molly and Maggie, WhiteFox? *squee* Those were the names of my two dogs too! Molly was a golden retriever and Maggie was an English setter.
