Human? Me?
An otherkin is someone who identifies as something other than human.

Me1: But I am human, aren't I?
Me2: Um, what about yesterday?
Me1: What about it? Fairly normal day, quiet even.
Me2: Uh huh, what about the part where you felt a disturbance of the energy flows inside your territory, astrally flew to the other side of town to destroy the impenetrable temple by holding two separate discordant energies in your hands until the thing disintegrated from the inside out?
Me1: Lol! It wasn't as impenetrable as they thought, was it?
Me2: Humans don't normally do things like that.
Me1: They don't?
Me2: Most of them don't, no. Did it hurt?
Me1: Did what hurt?
Me2: You were screaming, and that didn't sound very human either.
Me1: Oh, sorry. I didn't think anyone was listening. You try holding disparate discordant energies in your hands and tell me how you feel about it.
Me2: You'd do it again wouldn't you?
Me1: Yeah, it was fun.
Me2: You did it because it was fun?
Me1: Well, not really. It was in my space and it didn't belong.
Me2: How did you know it didn't belong?
Me1: I don't know. It was just wrong. It made me itch.
Me2: Was the temple a threat to you personally?
Me1: No, but my people didn't like it.
Me2: What people?
Me1: Oh shut up....you know which people.
Me2: I rest my case.
Me1: It's probably all in my head anyway.
Me2: Your inhuman head....
Me1: I know where you sleep....

Same here xD Kind of gets contradictory too because of what you have been taught while residing in a mortal shell.. then you awaken and you're like "This can't be happening.. I'm normal and human... or am I?"

~ Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you're up to.

Re: Human? Me?
Never had this kind of internal debate. Mind you, I have no voices in my head, not even "My" voice. I think in abstract ideas and concepts without words or images.
I've never questioned whether or not "I" am human as I am obviously, undenyably human. Non-humans don't get laptops for their 20th birthday after all, or any other birthday for that matter.
My questions have been, what is this other thing that comes in alongside this human thing? Where does it come from, what does it do, etc..

You're missing out on so many fun conversations.

Course when you start having a heated argument with yourself on politics, then you gotta stop for a while.

I do have internal debates... but it's more like contemplating the aesthetic value of light reflecting on water and it's revelance to the level of motion on the surface of the water wether it be because of the flow of the water (rivers), the flow of air over the water, or the pull of the tide,... ofcourse without any light, water, imegary, word, or physical representation there of.
I like having these on politics..

Luckily, politics is one area where I can agree with myself. None of me is masochistic enough to vote for a party that hates us.

Lol, I'm starting to sound like a multiple! Well, I am a shifter and that's almost as good.

Re: Human? Me?
As a multiple, I find it rather hard to fully grasp the idea of a "conversation" with another part of myself. Our minds, memories, and (if you believe in them) souls are linked - why in the world would either of us feel the need to verbalise to each other?

It would be like sitting in a room with a physical friend and writing each other letters, instead of just saying hi.
