Howls, All! (Updated)
My name is Nia and I've known I was a wolf therian for about 10-12 years. I used to hang out on Therianthropy.org, which has since mostly died, and I'm a regular on TDF (the Daemon Forum). I'm currently looking into plurality because I might (<-- key word here) be a median, which I only just discovered the concept of, and I'm pretty interested in brain/soul/psych/spiritual everything. I was directed here and several other places by a fellow TDFer, but also it's just been way too long since I've had a good Otherkin/Therian forum to hang out on. So I'm very glad to have found this one, which seems very intelligent and friendly.

Here's a summary of my/our head in case you are interested, in order of personality potentness:
Nia (the main/central person): f, Mexican wolf (canis lupus baileyi) therian, Buddhist, art-lover/furry artist, recently married
Shahndyl: m, Ethiopian wolf daemon, flamboyant and entertaining, therapy-wolf, frequent shape changer and part-time dinosaur
Susarin: f, Demon of Narcolepsy, bringer of nightmares and hallucinations, lover of all things creepy, reality-twister
Arion: m, anthro cat-demon, hidden anger/unbridled emotion, fire elemental, attack cat
Allandra: f, anthro fennec fox consort and world-class manipulator
Lulin: f, human w/ blue dog fursona, clothing obsessed, recently lifted out of depression
Howler: m, human often drawn as a grey wolf, creepy and malicious stalker person
Erif: m, academic professor calico cat anthro who is obsessed with books
Estellara: f, Arion's cheetah daemon who mostly just looks annoyed

As far as I know, Nia is the only one who controls the body, though sometimes I say things that come from various other headmates. Not that you know probably more than you ever wanted to XD, hi everybody!

Edit: Scroll down for update.

Arion: Gargoyle, Erif: Asian dragon, and Shawn: Netjeri are three Otherkin members of system Nsashaell (nine people total). Others may comment occasionally.

Welcome The multiples/medians around here tend to sign their posts from whichever headmate gave their input. If anyone else in your system puts in their $.02 feel free to do the same. Cuts down on confusion.

Re: Howls, All!
Well, the median idea lasted a whole half a day, so I figured I should update this thread. Turns out we are definitely a multiple system now that I've found out more about the term. We have 8 people in our system, 6 of whom have been fronting (we used to sneak up front, which is why Nia was unaware). Our lives have vastly improved since we began viewing ourselves in this way. Nia finally admits we're people in our own right, and we have been improving our organization, mental and physical health from this new perspective as a group with great effect. Most of our system mates could be referred to as Otherkin, though not all of us prefer the term.

Here are our permanent members, as far as we can tell:
Erif (m): Me, and in-world I'm a cat anthro. I don't feel my "human form" (as in, what I think I would look like as a human) fits me; I don't feel like a therian either, or a furry (human but feeling attached to a fursona, I mean). In other words, I'm exploring. I will most likely be one of the main people browsing this forum.
Nia (f): A wolf therian. In the headspace she has only one form, a Mexican wolf, and we describe her as therian because when she fronts she has all the "typical" therian characteristics, like shifting, very wolfish mannerisms, phantom limbs (actually, most of us have those), etc.
Arion (m): A fire demon who appears in the headspace as a cat anthro, however we are pretty much positive he would be simply a demon and/or fire elemental otherkin if he had his own body and the cat part is just for fun. He and Nia are the oldest of us to inhabit this body and we consider them fraternal twins.
Shahndyl (m): Nia's daemon, though he seems more of his own person than most daemons are. He is a settled Ethiopian wolf but spends most of his time in the headspace in human form. He also has the ability to front, usually not something daemons do.
Susarin (f/NA): She is a demonic energy that directs itself towards dreams and nightmares. Susarin is entirely non-human and nearly as old as the twins. However, she never fronts anymore and has little to no interest in life outside the headspace, except of course for material for her creations.
Lulin (f): A human furry with a dog fursona who is interested in relatively girly things. She is shy and fearful compared to the rest of us.
Allandra (f): We believe she is a fennec fox therian, though she spends her in-world time in werefox form. She's currently exploring her identity as well.
Howler (m): A werewolf in the classic sense, he originated as human but can transform painfully into a large, scary-looking wolf at the full moon. He never fronts, but is our headspace groundskeeper.

Our system was recently dubbed Nsashael, incorporating these 8's first initials.

The sig pic goes in this order in case you want a visual: Shahndyl, Arion, Lulin, Erif, Nia, Allandra, Howler, Susarin.

-Erif
