How to discover of which we belong
Greetings, May the stars watch over you and the sun brighten your path. I am Silvara or Fearfyn (Pronounced Fee- Air- Fin) and I believe I was once an elf. I lived in a large forest near large mountains. The trees never seemed to end. I do not know much more than that. Does anyone know to what I could have belonged? Or How I may go about finding that?
I once read that there may have been reasons for having no memory but knowing one is human with another soul or multiple people living within one body, yet being from many forms.(implies that they know that they are this) How do I find what I need most from my soul, which has lived many cycles, to understand from whence I came?
I have no memory of any of my lives before, and both I and my friend, who also has the same problem, would like to know how you all know what you are, and how you came to that conclusion, remember, or how to discover of which we belong.

Welcome I'm curious how you concluded that you're elf-kin. Not everyone has past life memories, not everyone believes in or has had a past life. You are 100% physically human, we all are. Identifying as otherkin is an identity thing, not a physical thing. Meditation is usually recommended in order to do some introspection.

Welcome to OKP Silvara!

I have to ask that you please post in one color as it's hard to read the rainbow. Also, make sure you're posting in proper English as not all of our members are native English-speakers. Thanks.

That aside, it takes time and a lot of introspection to figure out what you are. And even then, sometimes, it changes or evolves from there. Since there's no way to be certain one way or another if 'kin even exist, it can be frustrating. Be patient, if you work at it and keep the wishful thinking separate from the internal research and experiences it will come to you eventually.

I came to the conclusion of being elf-kin or related to elves long before I knew the existence of people actually being related to, or once being, such things. Not long after that, I caught one single glimpse of a past life for mere minutes. I recall that very vividly. I spoke to someone once that I was 'drawn' to who spoke of things I had always believed in and either had very lucky guesses about the answers he gave me, or actually knew what he was talking about. Then I did much, much research, which is how I found this site, and it 'fit' more and more. And some of the things I have found are vaguely familiar, such as haunting tunes with melodies that I know I've heard before, or descriptions of places that I know I've seen before, yet cannot, for the life of me, remember. It may not be definitive evidence, as has been said before, but as of yet, this is the closest thing I have found that fits me...
