Heart Hello! :]
Greetings ^^. I'm Westbrook, or rather, Albatross, or any variation of either name. I'm a wizard! More in the sense of being a kind of creature than an occupation.
Looking forward to meeting everyone! It's good to be here. Fox Moon

RE: Hello! :]
Welcome to OKP!

I'm Elinox, the admin here and a wolf/werewolf and cat.

What do you mean by wizard? As far as my understanding goes, wizards are simply humans with magical powers; either with a spirituality on Earth (like Wicca) or from another realm/reality.

RE: Hello! :]
Thank you for the welcome!
I'm still figuring it out myself, really. I don't feel it as a human identity, more along the lines of something like the witches in The Owl House? They're human-adjacent, but not human. A bit like elves. There's slight physical differences for me too, primarily animal traits related to that of a wizard's "familiar". Familiars in my world were not an animal companion, and more of an animal that a wizard would slowly take on the traits of & shapeshift into. Mine was a red fox, for example, so I remember having the tail, legs, arms, and ears of one. Wizards were both a culture & a species, where I was. (So, again, like elves, particularly Tolkien ones) :]. I'm doing my best to find out more, though! It's a process ahaha.
