Guardians?
This is something that's come up a few times. I recently discussed this topic with my friend Kuma, which reminded me of a situation way back when. I spoke with somebody from one of the old forums about the idea of having "guardians." Unfortunately, I remember very little of that conversation; only that she believed I had a guardian whose name was something flower-related and that she liked shiny things. Yeah, I know nothing. Not remembering who this person was, I don't know if their account was trustworthy. But if one does have "guardians", how does one connect with them?

Re: Guardians?
You mean like a guardian angel or a totem animal?

I would first try meditating to speak to them to see who/what they are.

Re: Guardians?
Easier said than done, of course :-/

To answer your question, probably closer to the former. I don't remember much about the description.

Re: Guardians?
Don't give up. ^__^ it took me 4 years to get to were i can meditate. it takes time and practice. have you tried burning incense and lighting candles. try burning purple candles and there is an incense called spirit that attracts spirit guides that may help with finding out who your guide is. Also, for me dragons blood and sandalwood incense have helped me meditate.

Re: Guardians?
I have tried that, yes, though not alone. I don't really even know what meditating feels like. That said, I'll try anything.

Re: Guardians?
Well for me it feels like i'm between asleep and awake, aware and unaware at the same time. I'd try it alone, because for me someone being in the room while I'm meditating would drive me nuts! lol even if they are quiet, because just knowing they are there is enough. I have ADOS, attention deficit oooh shiny object, so if I can meditate anyone can LOL

Re: Guardians?
I'm just not sure I have the patience to work on it for 4 years. I barely have the patience to work on college for 4 years.

Re: Guardians?
The traditional 'laying down in a dark, quiet room' may not be your cup o' meditation anyway. If you have trouble clearing your mind and relaxing, you could try listening to a drumming CD or nature sounds to get you in the right mindset.

When I've meditated (and it's been awhile!) it felt like I was only very vaguely aware of my physical body while my mind was on the astral plane. There was definitely a consciousness shift though in how I felt. Once I got there, I just knew it, instinctively.

Re: Guardians?
My mind is never clear But yeah, I don't think silence is the best method for me. Just have to try different things. The environment matters too; my room is usually freezing, and as such I'm not so comfortable unless I'm in bed. I also fidget around a lot, making relaxation difficult. But I've relaxed before, and I can do it again.
