Greetings from Nameless
I have been jumping from Other forum to Other forum for some time, dabbling here and there as I go and making many acquaintances and friends in the process. On other forums I have gone by the name gremlin, but I feel Nameless is a more suitable identity. I identify as a shadow, though I prefer Skianthrope. Taken from the greek skia, meaning shade or shadow, and the greek thrope, meaning man or human. It best describes what I am (or once was): a shadow in a vaguely human shape.

As for spirituality I pursue what I identify as a Twilight Path, or Shadow path. My main spiritual themes are balance, and unity through diversity. I primarily serve the ancient Egyptian Neteru (god) Aker.

I am currently in pursuit of a career in writing and my experiences with identifying as Other often find themselves in my short stories. I am also an artist and enjoy expressing Skianthropes in a visual medium; it brings me a measure of contentment. That is a bit about me, both as an Other and as a Human, both vital parts of my identity. I am happy to be here and hope I learn from others in the process and that others are able to learn from me as well.

P.S.- A special shout out to everyone from the Darkkin forum.

Lol, I thought Archer would be thrilled, especially since you both share a love of questioning.

Welcome!

Re: Greetings from Nameless
An excellent question and one I am currently writing an article about, so have patience and soon you will know. <!-- sSmile --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- sSmile -->

*EDIT*

Doubt, Questioning, an unshakable feeling, instinct, and belief were all involved in discovering myself and still are involved as I learn more about myself. It has taken years of swimming through the murk of uncertainty and reasonable doubt to reach a point where I am comfortable in calling myself a Skianthrope; a Shadow. I continue writing essays that analyze and explain why I think what I do and how I got where I am, but in the long run it comes down to a personal level. It comes down to belief, faith, and spirituality.
