Greetings from Alaska
Hi,
I'm new to the actual 'kin phenomena, but not so much the concept, as I've known I'm an Incarnated Angel/Mystic Angel for about 5 yrs now -- but have only recently awakened to my psychic vampire aspect. It's wonderful to communicate and share with others like me!!!

I love in a little cabin near woods and a river, in a very small town in southcentral Alaska -- and I love it! I live with my two cats, a 29h aquarium (yes, angelfish), and lots of greenbabies (houseplants).

I've explored many religions over the years, Wicca being the most recent, and I consider myself to be a Solitary Eclectic Pagan, although I embrace no religion in particular, preferring my own brand of spirituality that is my life, not only a part of it. I'm definitely into Angels and Angel Magick, and do angel card/angel intuitive readings. I also use a lot of herbs that I either gather in the wild or grow in pots, and I'm into using crystals, too, all for various purposes. I also like to bellydance, Nature-walk and sew...and tons of other things too, lol!!! At age 54, I'm finally a very happy, first-time grandmother!!!

Enough about me for now....

Blessings,
MagickalLadyAngel

Welcome!

Wow, you may have hit the age record here. I thought I was a geezer! No wait...Val is more of a geezer than me...

You do sound like a sparkly happy new age type person...so how do the psychic vampiric traits fit in with that? Especially while living in such an isolated area. Are you also able to feed from plant life? What happens in winter? (Sorry, I'm being nosey.)

Re: Greetings from Alaska
Hello Again,
I'm only just beginning to learn & understand how my angelkin and psy-vampiric traits 'fit' me, lol! I'm so very new to my psy-vamp aspect that I don't have a lot of answers yet. I do know it seems to fit in with my being an Incarnated-/Mystic-Angel, if one looks at how much an angel might need to be blocked and bound to remain in a human body it makes sense to have psy-vamp traits and tendencies too -- not to mention all the stuff that's happened along the way to reinforce existing blocks and/or create new ones.

I recognized several behavior traits that I used to have, but with a lot of hard work finally learned to change, as they weren't positive or working for me, of course. It was difficult not knowing why I did/said/thought what I did, and now it's wonderful seeing how the stray pieces of the puzzle are finally fitting together so well. I hope that I can get along well without feeding directly from humans or living animals, but I'm so new to this that I haven't explored it much yet at all. With all this Nature around me, though, I may be able to get along quite nicely!?

So far, I'm shielding myself, have my home strongly warded, and am trying my best to keep my tendrils in and to not unintentionally feed from loved ones, or any one else for that matter.

As far as living in Alaska, I think I'll have more trouble in the summertime heat and extended daylight hours here, as opposed to winter's dark coldness...I've always had much more of a problem tolerating the heat (these menopausal hotflashes are nightmarish for me at times!!!).

Speaking of which, lol -- as far as my 'hitting the age record' here, I'm kinda used to it...seems I've been the eldest a lot thru the years! I try to think of myself as "a young-but-wise matriarch" -- and not "a geezer," rofl (and these lightest hairs on my head are not gray, they're silver, thank you very much, lol)!

Blessings,
MLA

Re: Greetings from Alaska
Hi and welcome!

Hmmm... Incarnated Angel/Mystic Angel, crystals, plants, eclectic paganism, Angel Magic(k), angel card readings, new grandma, psyvamp tendancies... you sound shockingly like an old friend's mum here in Oz lol. Even the age's about right.

Just a note on psyvampirism, if you are one and don't feed you'll notice it affecting you badly, it's like deciding not to eat food. If you don't get adverse effects then you may not be a psyvamp persay and can re-train your energy system to not take energy from other people.

Just be careful with warding your house too much as well. Energy flow through the house helps.

Wow... sounded a little preachy there. Must be flash backs to talking to my old friend's mum...

"Darkness comes and you recoil,
sink into the mother's soil.
Then you see the truth in all,
'The Darkness is the Mother'
and fall...

Re: Greetings from Alaska
Yeah - someone older then me by years! Hitting my 40 this year ... *g*, but whats those few years when facing eternity?

Question: What do you think of those lists in Virtues Fluffy-Book on Earth-Angels? I even had the idea to write to this woman, in order to point out the dangers of those kind of things. Hell, she claims being a psychologist. She should know better.

Re: Greetings from Alaska
Hey there!

I'm wondering (and I'm sorry if you've already answered this) what a Mystic Angel is. What makes them different from normal angels?

Hope you enjoy it here!
