Greetings and Salutations!
My name is Christa, I'm twenty years old, and am currently really curious about all things Otherkin. I suppose you can say I'm still in my 'awakening' and have just recently realized that I really need to figure out what's happening with my beliefs before I tear myself apart. So, I ask a lot of questions and am extremely active in any forum I'm apart of.

I'd really like to learn as much as I can from you guys, and hopefully some day I can contribute too!

Hello and welcome to OKP!

I see in your profile that you have listed "human, therian" for 'kin type. What type of therian do you think you might be?

welcome Christa, and yes I have seen your name elsewhere as well. Feel welcome here at the Otherkin Phenomena, we're here to help by pooling information about our combined experiences in the hopes of finding useful information for the community.

Don't mind or be offended by any questions asked, just our way of getting to know you and everyone else.

Re: Greetings and Salutations!
I'm not easily offended. However, I do hold the right to not answer questions if I so choose - and I'll always explain why I don't want to explain, if I ever have a problem with a question. (Usually I like questions quite a bit, I'm curious about all kinds of things, and don't feel it at all intrusive for others to be curious too!)

Anyone who recognizes my name, would only recognize it (if indeed we are talking about ME behind that name) because I've recently joined any and all forums that are active for Otherkin, and even some for paganism. I've put aside this possibilty for quite awhile, and would like to now explore the information the interwebs has to offer. <!-- sBig Grin --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- sBig Grin -->

What brought me to the conclusion that I'm a feline Therian? Oh boy. I'm still debating that, however I didn't feel it proper to state in a small space that I'm still in the process of trying to understand everything, and that I'm still in the 'awakening' process. (I've a lot of skepticism, however I'm a very open person and therefore I'm able to listen to everyone and what they have to say without thinking about is insane.)

However, the path that lead me to start thinking about it, is for another time - when I have a chance to actually type it out.
