Feeling horrible after doing a tarot reading :'(
About 3 days ago I did a reading for someone and shortly after i started getting extremely tired. I didn't think anything about it at first, but it's been about 3 days and i seem to be getting more and more fatigued. Plus I'm getting depressed, having trouble thinking straight and I now have a bad headache. During the reading the person I was reading to kept wanting to make something negative out of everything the cards was saying, they wouldn't listen to me when I was telling them that the cards would be saying something entirely different. To make matters worse I just found out that the person has gone back and tried to stir up conflict with what my reading said. Could all this persons negativity be causing all these side-effects? I've never felt like this after a reading before, can someone please tell me what to do to get myself back balanced. I've tried meditation and trying to ground myself. Nothing seems to be working to well. I'm at a loss and if someone knows what to do it would be greatly appreciated if you could help. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried shielding?

That's the other thing that's bugging me I thought I was shielded. Apparently not good enough, right. Do you know if there's anyway for me to feel any better cause I still feel like crap. I don't really feel like myself, I'm generally a happy go lucky type. <!-- sSad --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" /><!-- sSad -->

I didn't know there was a thing as shielding is it bad to have been doing readings unshielded?

I'd try getting blood or enchanting a energy drink to bring your life energy up as it sounds like a vesk which is an astral being which latches onto a host then drains its life energy. A cleansing ritual should remove it.

Re: Feeling horrible after doing a tarot reading :'(
Thank you, i didn't think of the energy drink thing. that's pretty cool! Thank's for the other info too. gave me a lot to think about. Yea, it is kind of bad to do a reading without being shielded, because when you do a reading you're using your energy plus the other persons energy. Also there's no telling what all a person has going on in their life because people with a lot of negativity tend to draw negative beings to them, so it's not really a good idea to leave your self open to anything. Honestly I think you should be some what shielded all the time because of how much negativity is in the world now, and it's like you said there are beings out there that feed on your energy. Anyway, thanks again.

No prob I kinda prefer to make the astral my home so I tend to remember things others might not.

Re: Feeling horrible after doing a tarot reading :'(
Thanks for all the help, and I'd like you all to know that the problem has been resolved and I am feeling much better. It turned out the person was draining me. I found out that others before me refuse to do readings for this person because of this. Anyway, my fiance and his aunt helped me break the cords between me and this person and they are no longer able to drain me. They also helped me build up my energy some. Anyway, thanks again ^__^

Re: Feeling horrible after doing a tarot reading :'(
I don't think they know they are one. but i have noticed that they love stirring up trouble and making things negative. They are also very manipulative. I honestly don't think you'd like them very much if you meet them. Because ever since i did that one reading all they've done is try to drag me into trouble. I mean I got it fixed to were it's not gonna work, but it's still annoying.

Re: Feeling horrible after doing a tarot reading :'(
Well, since this is solved we hope we know the answer. I am still going to chime in because I am just that cool (I am really not that cool).

Many factors can go into this, including the deck itself you use, the connection between you and the target you are reading for, or even the deck to that person and subsequently to you.

Any time you are doing a reading, there must be some connection (which is why I am so painfully and fervently skeptical to the point of completely disbelieving in "online" readings).

Shielding can be important, some people who don't know what it is shield naturally, it is something that can very well be reflexive or innate (especially in my opinion, to incarnate Angels), however when focused it becomes better organized and focused, therefore more effective.

In the future, whenever you do a reading, I always suggest cleansing and disconnecting from the target of the reading as well as the deck, just to make sure it is all fine and clean and dandy for all.

The maximum effective range of an excuse is zero meters.
