Etsy!
I thought I'd start a thread for anyone with an Etsy shop to post a link to said shop. For anyone who doesn't know, Etsy (www.etsy.com) is an online marketplace for people to sell handmade and vintage stuff.

Right now, I'm only shipping domestically, but if you're from abroad send me a PM and I'll see what I can do, though you'll have to pay customs, shipping, and the price of the item so keep that in mind.

So without further ado: http://dravenstar.etsy.com

Very pretty. If I had the funds, I saw a couple of items I would have bought.

I agree with you on that zimmer, they are very pretty. Though unless I get a girlfriend or my physical body becomes female I won't be able to really order any of them. Of course I don't have the funds either.

Pretty stuff Sera! With Etsy, is there a fee that the site takes from sellers? It might be worthwhile for me to get an account there too.

Yes, but not very much. People put up samples and pay it forwards for $0.20 to cover their list fee.

In addition to the listings, buyers can also make custom requests through Etsy, so you could also get more visibility for your personalized work. (Of course, it's huge, so additional promotion helps here too...)

*is still a bit confused* But then wouldn't an artist ask for a higher price than if they were selling through some other place like dA? For example, I make and sell antler pendants and I charge $10 for them. With the additional cost of advertising on a website like Etsy and the additional cost that would run me, I'm be tempted to sell the same pendant for $12 to cover my additional fees. But if someone commissioned me from another website, the same product would be cheaper. Paying for the advertisement I guess?

I'm not sure. If it's a flat fee, I doubt 20 cents is a big deal to them. But for "free" samples and the like, yes, they do mark up. *g*

Re: Etsy!
As Nonny said, the charge 20 cents to list an item and they take 3.5% of the sale...which ends up being like...40 cents ish depending on the price. So yeah, you have to add 1-2 dollars, but most people expect to pay more for hand made stuff.

Re: Etsy!
Aw, Seraphyna, your etsy is empty right now. I'm curious to see what kind of stuff you do.

Anyway! I've got an etsy store too: http://orkideavioleta.etsy.com. I sell drawings, ACEOs, and jewelry.

Oh, and Elinox... where can I see you antler pendants? (considering it was not only an example and you really do them =D)
