Here's the website I got that info off of: http://www.ofs-demonolatry.org/
Apparently though that's just one little group who decided to make some of their beliefs public. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any info coming from any other supposed groups, so that's the only major one online to find (outside of the book titled "Demonolatry", but I haven't read that yet).
They do sound a bit kooky and stuck up to some others from the initial rules, but they're actually pretty logical and cool once you start talking to them. What they're trying to stay away from when they say "you cannot say you're a demon" are those goth/"satanic" wanna-be kids and those along similar RP lines, not the otherkin idea. I actually did bring that up in a thread, and no one responded rudely to it, just rationally.
You guys wouldn't be considered demons, since your definition of demon and their definitions are different. To them, a demon is actually a deity from their own pantheon (there's a list of various grimores that some find inspiration in on the site, for example), while to you guys (from what I'm reading in these threads) are energy beings/forms of chaos instead. To say you are a deity and say you're a chaotic energy being is a bit different (since the later does not assume great power, just suggests a form).
So someone like simim or kohaku would be ok, just considered a different term by them, but someone like Motley might not be <!-- s
