Coursity. Help? Thoughts would be welcomed
Hello there peeps, I'm Jackie ^^. I'm 20, a chick, an a fledging college student. I have a question though that no one seems to answer, or if this is answerable, it's extremely hard to find an answer. A few of my close friends are physics’ {please forgive my spelling, it's not the world's greatest}. Most of these close friends {five total; four can see/sense/hear ghosts} can see/sense/hear ghosts. And they all say that I too am..."different" shall we say.

Four friends out of the five say I'm a tazer for them. The moment I step into a room with ghosts the sprits either scream in pain or dissipate and don't re-enter the room until I leave. I may I say for the record I think I'm about physic as a ham sandwich. I can't see ghosts or hear them or feel them. The only physic experience I've had is not getting blind-sided by a 10lb binder {it fell out of the top locker when I was right underneath it getting my backpack out of the bottom locker} that should have smacked me on the head but landed right beside me instead. My fifth friend {who's a very weak telepath/empath} says I put people at ease. I know that one day I was hanging out with a friend {not supernatural in any way} who just out of the blue says, "Jackie if you hadn't started talking to me that day I would have killed myself a couple weeks later."I promptly blinked at her and then whacked her upside the head for thinking such thoughts like suicide. But later {when I was done smothering her with a pillow} she told me that when she had started talking to me it was like she could tell me anything. She said I made her feel at ease. And all I asked her was wither Gladiator was better then Saw?

The last thing is my energy felid. Out of those five friends one is what you would call an energy vampire {I'm still trying to get used to that} who says I have an insane energy felid. It's swirly and purplish {these are her words not mine! ^^}

Ha ha, all joking aside, I'm quite curious as to what a person might call this. No one seems to know anything about it

Unfortunately, no one, not even close friends, can tell you what you are. Other people can tell you how they percieve you or your energy, but if you identify as Otherkin, it's something you've chosen to recognize yourself. Advice from other people should be taken with a grain of salt as it's coming from, albiet to be helpful in most cases, from an outside source. You know how you feel, etc. so only you can answer the age-old question of "what/who am I?"

A lot of people start by meditating to try and figure out what they are, if they believe they might be Otherkin. Other people try to get a feel on what their energy is like. There's many ways to go about it. And for most people it does take awhile, sometimes even years.

Also, don't forget that many things that seem "weird" at the time are very much normal and human in nature. <!-- sWink --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- sWink -->

You guys are always so helpful . All kidding aside it might be difficult for the poster to find herself if she is as she says about a psychic as a ham sandwich . Meditation would be a good way to go as was pointed out .

It's interesting why ghosts/spirits would not want to be in the room with her . Perhaps her energy is so strong it intimidates them. Maybe if she really puts people at ease just by talking to them , maybe she could be one of the celestial kin . Just listing guesses here .

In the end Elinox is right , you have to try and figure it out for yourself . I'd also recommend to keep a dream journal .

That's not to say that your friends can't help you, or offer suggestions. However, you might want to try searching within yourself first so as to avoid subconscious suggestions. Try reading some of the articles here or search through the subforums that catch your attention. Sometimes following your first instincts is beneficial.

HEY. You forgot to mention that you usually know when something's wrong, even if you're forever and a day away. And sometimes we share thoughts lol so you're at least psychically receptive. -.-
(insert noise about your obssession with ham sandwhiches here) How's my Rosie?

Now are thoughts thou shalt not banish--
Now are visions ne'er to vanish;
from thy spirit they shall pass
No more-- like dew-drops from from the grass.

LIES. lol.
at least you know something is wrong. Just cause we know who it is makes no difference. And yours wins cause it's um... far more dramatic?

Now are thoughts thou shalt not banish--
Now are visions ne'er to vanish;
from thy spirit they shall pass
No more-- like dew-drops from from the grass.
