Unfortunately, no one, not even close friends, can tell you what you are. Other people can tell you how they percieve you or your energy, but if you identify as Otherkin, it's something you've chosen to recognize yourself. Advice from other people should be taken with a grain of salt as it's coming from, albiet to be helpful in most cases, from an outside source. You know how you feel, etc. so only you can answer the age-old question of "what/who am I?"
A lot of people start by meditating to try and figure out what they are, if they believe they might be Otherkin. Other people try to get a feel on what their energy is like. There's many ways to go about it. And for most people it does take awhile, sometimes even years.
Also, don't forget that many things that seem "weird" at the time are very much normal and human in nature. <!-- s
