Concerts.

So, I just got back from seeing Exodus, Arsis, Goatwhore, and Warbringer play at the Meridian, and I am the happiest demon you'll ever meet.

In April, I'm off to see Gigantour with In Flames, Children of Bodom, and Megadeth.

That'll make a grand total of 5 major shows I've been to, once I've gone to Gigantour.

I've got:

-Cradle of Filth & Killswitch Engage
-No Fear Tour: He is Legend, Chimaira, Dragonforce, and Killswitch Engage
-Ghost Opera Tour: Leaves' Eyes and Kamelot
-The Atrocity Exhibition Tour: Warbringer, Arsis, Goatwhore, and Exodus

and then, MEGADETH. Heehee. I'm so excited about seeing it I could do something totally inappropriate for the forums. xD


SO, I guess the MAIN point of this thread is: What shows have YOU been to?
Anything noteworthy? Anything you're proud of? Anything you've been to that would make another drool with envy?

Aerosmith twice (once with KISS and they sucked!), Bette Midler twice, Josh Groban, Barage, STOMP and Hooty & the Blowfish (hey, it was a free trip!) I've also seen Billy Cosby live and he was hilarious!

I went to Ribfest a few times (I think it's a local thing), and the vibrations were nearly enough to make me ill. Along with how uncomfortable I get while in a crowd, I don't think I'm likely to go to a concert.

I've only been to one gig that counts (the other two were very very small. One me and my friend bought tickets spercifically because we'd never heard of them and they where only £8. The other was a coot little hippy band called 3 daft monkeys) and that was Ill Nino and very recently. I really enjoyed it =)
Although it was quite scary ^_^
Even though I had four pretty tough cookies protecting me from certain death (one of whom ended up pulling some guys tooth out of his arm the next day, might I add) I did get quite broken. I'm really not in the least bit hardore, you see. Way too sketty for my own good.
But it was still a totaly amazing expirience.
Oh and that reminds me. Sean still hasn't sent me the photies.. *frowns*
I shall have to see about that.

Anyway,
I was planning on going to Download this year but after Ill Nino, I'm not so sure..
I think, if I go, I will most certainly end up coming home in pieces.
BUT the line-up is pretty damn awesome. Not as good as some of the previous years but still there are quite a few bands that I can't even imagine being able to see anywhere but on TV acuz I love them that much going.
SO. Is it worth devasting injury? You tell me.

And they are only of the support bands acuz after then it all got a bit too sardiney.

I went to see Bob Dylan when I was about twelve with my dad. Dad's more of a fan than I am but some of the songs are really quite good~ ^w^
