Coffee or Tea?
Which do you prefer?

And what do you put in it?

Me, I'm the occasional tea drinker and then only hot tea. I prefer it the English way, with milk in it. I have tried coffee several times but by the time I'm done adding creamer (yay Irish creme!) it's more like half a cup of coffee and half a cup or more of creamer. Plus, the smell of freshly roasted coffee reminds me of things burning and makes me wrinkle up my nose in distaste. If it doesn't smell good, I won't eat/drink it!

Re: Coffee or Tea?
I don't really do preferences much.
I drink both coffee and tea.
I take my coffee black as night, bitter, strong, and hot... then I wait for it to cool just enough so it doesn't hurt to drink it.

Tea is such a broad category that it's hard to say whether or not I like "tea".
There's tea out there that's horrible and there's tea that I love.
I like, for example, the honey, lemon, ginseng green tea from celestial seasonings.
I put sugar in it, but no milk. MILK DOES NOT GO IN MAH TEA!

'course, Coffee's much the same for me...
I don't like "all" coffee..
I gag when I have "Caffe Americano" regardless of what coffee goes in it too... I mean, whoever thought "a shot of espresso with a half cup of hot water" was a good idea needs a smack to the face!
oooohhh.. but a good swiss mocha is more than a treat at times.
'course, those are not "coffee" they're coffee drinks.
Latte and all those "chino" things aren't coffee either, they're coffee drinks.
Drinks that "contain" coffee...

bla bla bla, I'm a little drunk.

Re: Coffee or Tea?
I posted tea, even though I (arguably) drink both, because I prefer tea.

Generally it's herbal tea, because my body doesn't handle caffeine well, but I do really love jasmine green tea when I occasionally get it. I smell it and I think of food.

The only types of green tea I tend to drink are either Japanese or Chinese and out at restaurants -- or decaf, which rarely ever comes from an Asian company and is imported to my area. I generally don't drink black tea unless there's milk in it.

Then there is Thai iced tea with condensed milk and sometimes boba (tapioca pearls), which I get occasionally without knowing how it's made. (Something I read said that it had to be boiled for six hours or something.)

Eh. Probably shouldn't get deeper into it than that without someone asking.

Re: Coffee or Tea?
I'm a tea drinker. I used to love coffee but then it started really bothering my stomach so I can't drink it anymore. I don't put much of anything in it, maybe some all natural German rock sugar, rarely milk. Only milk and sugar if it's from a tea bag to make it less craptacular. I'm a tea snob, loose leaf all the way baby

XD There's Japanese rock sugar, too. Is the German stuff purified, or does it still have the molasses and stuff in it?

The Japanese stuff I'm familiar with, I used to suck on as a kid. They are like tumbled stones, basically. Just regular white sugar, but HUGE.

Re: Coffee or Tea?
The German variety is the same. Rock-like sugar. It's brownish in color, but unprocessed.

Re: Coffee or Tea?
*bumps*

I like both. Not really sure if I have a preference, but I don't like tea that's too weak (black is fine) and I don't like too much in coffee either, makes me feel sick (also, black is fine). Few things worse than a badly made cappuccino.
