Cameos, Anyone?
I simply had to share this, because I woke up laughing.

So, after staying up waaaaaay too late Sunday night, getting up at five on Monday morning, working, coming home, doing housework and not taking my regular nap in the afternoon... By about seven o'clock yesterday evening, I was dead on my feet. Neko was busy playing Conan on the 360, so I stretched out, used his lap for a pillow and conked out.
My dream was both inspiring (at least to me, since I 'saw' it) and hilarious. Why hilarious, you may ask? Because how often do you see a beautiful grey wolf wearing a pirate's hat and tipping back a flask? ^_^

Chaitea, I don't know if your draconic form is a brilliant crimson, very shiny and extremely large, but when I dreamt I walked into the NMSU ballrooms- into what was apparently a forum-only otherkin convention- you're the first thing I saw. *laughing* (You're gorgeous, by the way. ^_~) I can only assume that the stern-looking, gleaming angel leaning on your shoulder with the laughing eyes was Terro.
Seraphyna and Bun were sitting together in the back, on chairs that were higher than the rest. (I think it kept the flowing gowns from getting trod on by everyone passing.) I'm guessing the shifting, multi-coloured amorphous shape that was giggling was Simim, and Freetha- forgive me, but I have only seen the D&D Rakshasa, so I'm pretty sure my mental image was a weeeeee bit off- looked completely badass as a tiger-striped elf. ^_^
Oddly enough, the multiples looked like normal humans. ^_^ Maybe my dream couldn't come up with a particular shape for them. Momo was at the podium- I think they were lecturing on experiences as a multiple otherkin in a classroom setting- and the Garnet Host (wearing some lovely garnet-shaded slacks) was sitting in the front row, nodding and sipping from a cup.
Elinox, you made me crack up laughing. All of the therians- and I think my mind supplied just a bunch of random animals to fill the folding chairs- were sitting in the rows, listening to Momo, but Elinox was the only wolf wearing a pirate's hat and tipping back a flask. *grin* That was awesome.
The back of the ballroom was very, very crowded, what with Chaitea having one half of the ballroom and Deros taking up the other half. (Deros, you look very, very cool under flourescent lights.) I walked into the room, blinked, looked around, started laughing and then I felt my wings move. Now that was completely awesome.

And apparently otherkin conventions consume large amounts of caffeinated beverages. I had never imagined there could be 'dragonic-use' designed coffee cups, but the ones I saw in my dream were very, very cool.

I know this is pretty silly, but I had to share it. I woke up laughing, and Neko cracked up when I told him about Elinox with her hat and flask, and Chaitea's cup of coffee.

Re: Cameos, Anyone?
I read the first part, about the wolf wearing a pirate hat, and I couldn't help but think "she's going to be referring to me, isn't she?". And sure enough, I am a pirate wolf! LMAO! This was great! I'm glad I got to play a colorful, if somewhat accurate, character in your dream. Now if only I could draw that scene...

*laughing* Seriously, I'd love to commission a painting of that scene. It was SO cool. I'd have to get copies to send to everyone, but I'd definately hang it in my living room.

Re: Cameos, Anyone?
That entire post made my day (which i needed since i have a Nutrition quiz in a few hours)

freelanceangel Wrote:Because how often do you see a beautiful grey wolf wearing a pirate's hat and tipping back a flask? ^_^

I wish i could see that every time i wake up in the morning *winks at Eli*

That is one of the best descriptions of Terro I've heard from someone who hasn't physically met him yet.
As for me, in what "memories" i have of myself i see myself as an olive green. But overall i really feel more like a red. So far i have two explanations for the color-confusion. I lived two lives as two different colored dragons or i was colorblind in that first draconic life. But yeah, that description of me sounds about how i view myself in a broad sense.

Everyone else's descriptions were priceless as well. I would pay money for an artist's (good) interpretation of that scene (anyone see Myenia about?)
Now if i only really did have a mug that big.

Re: Cameos, Anyone?
*cheers* My mind didn't completely screw everyone up! *giggling* Seriously, Chaitea, that mug was awesome. Especially considering the handle was shaped like a screaming human knight. Elinox, once I find out your addy, I swear I'm going to find the flask I saw in my dream and mail it to you. *laughing* It was too priceless. I don't often have dreams with that kind of detail and realism- considering the subject matter, it's funny that it was so realistic- but wow.
Now I'm tempted to try renting out those ballrooms and inviting local otherkin for a gathering. *grin*

Out of curiosity, what did dream-wolf-me look like? I'm curious if it was accurate or not.

I doubt it was all that accurate, considering it was a dream- *snerk!*- but I'll bite.

You weren't overly large- I've spent some time around wolves and wolf-hybrids, so I know different species have different sizes; I'm basing this off of a good-sized timber wolf- probably a good hundred-hundred and ten pounds of solid wuf. Your fur was the sort that I always want to snuggle: a dark grey base with the silvery-grey agouti and a touch of black to give it lots of prismatic- *giggling at using that to describe grey*- tone. A jaunty black pirate's hat was tipped on your head, with a very large, dramatic white feather, and your flask was polished silver with a Jolly Roger on it, with a wolf's skull in place of the usual one.

Re: Cameos, Anyone?
I love being in people's dreams. It makes me feel important. This is actually the second major one that I was in. The first one was dreamt by my acting teacher. I forget details, but basically her entire acting class was going to war with each other, and then I come in with a semi-automatic and a weird battlecry and kill them all.

But yeah, you made my day with this

I would have learned a lot from life if I hadn't spent most of my time being educated.

Wow, pretty dern accurate! You haven't read about how I see my inner wolf yet have you? This image is the closest I've found to match what I feel is me inside, but make the ears black and add a black tip to the tail.

Also, was it a pirate image like this? Because that's my personal pirate flag that I created!
