Brain Fever
It was recently suggested to me by a friend that when I say I have "brain fever", people might think this is a euphemism for syphilis.

It is not.

It is a euphemism for encephalitis.

Thanks for letting me clear that one up <!-- sTongue --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- sTongue -->

Re: Brain Fever
... pray tell, why on earth would somebody think it's a euphemism for syphilis?

Re: Brain Fever
It was pointed out to me when I was in the pub. I think it's an excellent euphemism for syphillis <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

That's a new one, what's slap-cheek?

Or do I not want to know? <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->
