Art for Sale : It's a good cause!
:Edit:
In an effort to make a little money to use towards funding flight and stuff for a little trip westward with the goal in mind to get hitched I've posted a full list of my originals and am in the process of adding price-tags to their DA descriptions.
Please take the time to look here
Pretty please, with the bow on top?
:/Edit:

(yes, I'm also putting this as a new post on the thread, I'm a little persistant/desperate/whatever, take your pick.)

I decided I'd add this here specifically since it's more of an ad than an art promo.

(This text is being posted all over the place)
See.. I Want nothing more than to live off of my art. It's what I do best and it's what feels right to me. I am not a good 9-5 worker, I hate mornings and my body hates me. There's not a single job out there that I can say with absolute certainty that I could do. Sit too long and I'm in pain, stand too long and I'm in pain. Migranes can pop up whenever and my insomnic problems cause an aggrivation of EVERYTHING else. My back and knees are shot and I can not afford anything that would take the weight off of them, at least not yet.
So what is a me to do?

First up. I'm selling my work so far, and opening myself up to comissions.
My work so far can be found at <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://freetha.deviantart.com/gallery/">http://freetha.deviantart.com/gallery/</a><!-- m --> (Feel free to browse and even obtain prints as they'll be considerably cheaper than the originals.)

What I'm selling is original drawings/paintings. Not photos. If you want the photo then just buy a print off of DA, they're all digital shots anyways and I don't have a good printer laying around at home. The original works are each worth a lot more to me than a simple print but at the moment I am a little flexible in regards to the price (as in I am not 100% decided on what I'll charge).
You'll have to cover the shipping.
No rights are for sale what so ever, copyright is mine.
What you'd get is a signed original.

Comissions:
I reserve the right to say no for whatever reasons I want to.
I am not used to producing a piece of something I've decided to make before I've started to make it, so expect an "artist's interpritation". I will not give refunds or remakes just because what you thought I'd draw, and what I do draw, isn't identical. However, I am flexible still on this so we can debate this should it arise.
Price is negociable, but it will take into account the fact that I spend somewhere between two and twenty hours creating one little drawing and the pens I use aren't free either. However, in the interest of fairness, I will take the time to come up with an estimated price per each piece.
you'll have to cover the shipping.
Copyright is still mine.
What you'd get is a signed original creation.
I reserve the right to scan it in and submit it to DA for a possible selling of prints.

I can be contacted through my email at Freetha at gmail.com for anything regarding these things (or through the on-site pm's).
Thanks and Cookies to you all.

Re: Art for sale
Have you tried looking into putting your art in local galleries or something like that? I work in one here in Florida and its a great way to get exposure. Oh, and a lot of the artists I know give classes to make money. Its hard to just go off of art sales.

Re: Art for sale
Galleries up here don't take "drawings" but paintings mostly and they aren't a reliable source.. coffee shops are better.
Coffee shops in the capital are best, and even then, getting up on those walls is a challange, one that I'll be looking into at some point soonish...

Art sales is hard yeah, but art sales + comissions is what I have as an option right now.

Re: Art for sale
Sorry, I forgot you were drawing, somehow. My brain is foggy. But you ARE talented and I hope it brings much success to you.

Re: Art for sale
Thank you.
Already sold one piece, or.. well.. sold and sold.. it's reserved *nodnod*. I consider it sold since I trust the person who wants it.
I'm also drawing them something.
Is making me happies.

Annoying as I find DeviantArt . . . <!-- sTongue --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- sTongue -->

Freetha's work is personally endorsed by me, and I know good stuff!

I bought these a wee while ago:

The one on the left is a comission, the one on the right I just liked.

Grade A for professionalism, speed of delivery, etc etc etc.

Well that post didn't work right, but I can't be bothered fixing it, and you get the idea <!-- sTongue --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- sTongue -->
