An Introduction.
I confess to some copy pasta, because I suck at writing introductions and it's hard enough doing one of them.

When writing on the internet, we do not always split into nice neat people-sized boxes (and so don't be surprised if we don't sign posts on a regular basis), but for the sake of information, I am Isha, I am a vampirekin fictive, and a walk-in (if one assumes it not to be psychological, which one needn't; I don't). I have been with the system for approximately 9 years, and harrassing it for a further year on top of that. I experience relatively mild psychic vampirism.

My hostess and companion is Luwana, who is a furred dragonkin, and a horse. She found there were others like her and a name for her state of mind when she encountered draconic.com, and spent quite a while on the Awereness forums. She's been in and around the communities for about 12 years, give or take. She experiences mild psychic vampirism, although she cannot generally feed from people.

We also share space with a werewolfkin, and rounding out our adult membership is a (Dead? Ghost?) human.

We live in Scotland, and at the moment have a very bland life, mostly skittering about entertaining ourselves in between evening classes, and bashing our heads off college courses. All going to plan (when does it ever), this year should be some courses in psychology and sociology, which we are quite looking forward to. Psychology is an interest of ours, as is Egyptology. And gaming. Oh yes.

Nah, you've been at it longer than the Allati Pack has. <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

Welcome to OKP! Can you tell me more about your werewolf 'kin type? I feel connected to werewolves as a 'kin type as well.

I'm not sure what I can really say. I spend most of my time looking normal, and then other times I'm this upright wolfish thing. I wouldn't really say it looks like a wolf though, it's kind of more like some of the beast things you see in a lot of art. I'm just rattling round in someone's human body now so the moon doesn't really do anything. I can feel it a lot of the time if I pay attention. Isha's the same. It feels like some things are just a bit more animal, like the way I show affection or how I start to react if people provoke me just right. I can choose not to be like that, and it doesn't happen so much when I'm fronting, but when I'm inside I mostly let it happen. It's happened that if I've kept it all out of my head for too long, been 100% normal, its become more difficult to work with. Trying to phrase this some way that doesn't make me sound like a poser saying they don't have control.

Changing form feels kind of like a shift within a shift. I'm always me, I'm always this, but sometimes I change into something a lot more different than how I usually am.

It's all pretty stereotypical TV fare really. I'm not very good at explaining things, I hope this was clear enough. If you've got something specific you want to know I can try to answer.

I think I understand what you mean, thanks for elaborating.
