Alternative names for vampires
I'm somebody who relies on ambient energy feeding. I've seen it called elemental feeding and background feeding and a bunch of other terms ~ but I don't really like the term psi-'vampire' because of the connotations. Do you know of any other terms to describe such a person?

Re: Alternative names for vampires
a bit of a necro here but i always liked the simple word vampyre with a "Y" instead of a "I" as it keeps the same meaning but is a slightly different word.

Sort of like how back in the 90's some pagans preferred the spelling 'magick'?

Re: Alternative names for vampires
ya i still do that <!-- sSmile --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- sSmile -->

Edit: i think it helps to separate it from the Hollywood terms in both terms. magic is seen as either stage magic (illusions) or "ohhh scaaaarrrreeeeyyy magic" so magick helps to put it in its own class away from stereo types. i think the same is true with vampire-vampyre case
