I wonder if in some other planes of existance if there is a being, let's say a dragon for the sake of argument, that considers his or her or itself humankin.

I dare an agnostic to prove he or she exists.

I don't see why that wouldn't be possible. However, it seems unlikely because most creatures, at least animal-wise, are more concerned with only their own survival. So, possible yes; probable, no.

A sentient being that is able to ponder such things? Sure why not?

Re: A what if of other times or other places
Mmm? It's completely possible and, to an extent, has happened to me in a past life (no alternate dimension, I'm afraid -- just a common wild animal).

If it can happen to things in the wild, I don't see why it can't happen to an alternate dimension dragon since our own otherkins are seemingly not restricted, either..

Well, think of it this way. We didn't have time to concern ourselves with such matters until cultures developed, which didn't happen until after our ancestors were already human (or humanoid, if you don't consider homo erectus to be human).

Does that mean we can get humans who believe they are dragons who beleive they are humans?

I was just curious if on their Dragon internet, if they would have a site like this one. If they sit around remembering a life they spent as a human. I realize this started out as a purely nonsensical topic, but it the thought made me laugh.
