A name...
I don't know if anyone will recognize a name that just popped in my head, Evascillon (E-vas-kil-lon). Maybe someone I'm supposed to find, maybe someone I already know. The name just sounds angelic, for some reason.

Re: A name...
I know I checked. Something just feels different about the name. It has a familiar feeling on my tongue.

There were a lot of non recorded angelic names. We only know of a small fraction that actually existed, IMO.

Re: A name...
It's ringing a bell, but that might just be Evangelion poking its head up. It's got the same tone in my head.

Same here. Allthough, Evangelion can mean gospel, and also refers to the death of Jesus on the cross. Maybe Twilight's name may be a reference to this?

Re: A name...
Hmmm... Maybe it's a derivative of an angelic name? Missing syllables perhaps? I'll prowl around my library tonight and see what I can dig up.

Well, my guardian angel's name is never listed either. Poor Kalelion.

Re: A name...
Probably not what you're looking for. But Evascillon can translate as "The Chief Fool of God" in Hebrew. Fool in this case not carrying the "romantic" notions of Jesters or the Tarot trump, but Fool as in utter idiot.

Anyways, it does sound Angelic, but On is one of the Names YaHooWaHoo stole when taking over the Middle East, and it appears in several Angelic Names, so there is at least a reason what it pinged you as such.

If it's a real name (i.e. not glossolalia), freelanceangel may be on the right track, and you should compare it to other Angel Names. Specifically changing soft sounds, vowels and some consonants. Well ignore vowels when dealing with Names usually, but in this case, V-B, S-Sh, C-K-Q-Ch are common substitutions or drifts to consider.

As we grow all things are external.
As we learn all things are internal.
As we understand all things are not.
